Rui slowly opened his eyes, feeling cleaner than ever before. He could feel a lightness of heart, as if a weight had been lifted off his chest. His thoughts turned to yesterday's events as he sat up.

Rui turned to his floor length mirror and took a good look at himself. He realized he had achieved something he had been searching for all along.

Beauty.

He started touching his face,
Perfect.
The brushed his fingers through his hair,
Perfect.

Upon realizing that he was already late for school, he hurriedly changed into his school uniform and brushed his teeth as soon as he could.
he ran right out of the door and full on RAN to school. Rui could run pretty fast but his stamina was lacking.
He could only run for about a minute at his full speed. He still was quite atheltic.

Reaching the school gates about 10 minutes later, he was surprised they were still open. He acted casual and walked into the property. The consequences of coming late was a 30 minute late detention but that was alright.

But, then he remembered.
Today was Monday.
He had to meet Tsukasa at Pheonix Wonderland right after school.

Trying not to think about it too much, he arrived at his first class and sat down at his desk whilst his teacher screamed at him.
Others were whispering about how good looking he was.

"IM NOT LETTING YOU COME IN WITH SUCH ATTITUDE, walk out and come back in with your shirt tucked in this time young man!"

Rui wasnt listening to the teacher so he got into even more trouble; a 1 hour detention. As a result, Rui learned to take punctuality and listening seriously, as he did not want to face the same consequences ever again.

Now he had to make Tsukasa wait an hour for him.

Rui was bored in class and not paying attention, so he began to get distracted and play around with his phone instead of listening to the teacher.
This led to the teacher scolding him in front of his entire class, causing him to feel embarrassed and humiliated yet again.

Atleast Tsukasa wasn't in the same class as him.

"Right, Rui, give me that phone."
The teacher asked,

Rui hid his phone under his shirt.

"What phone miss?"

Unable to handle rui anymore, the teacher snatched his phone right out from under his shirt and everyone gasped. From everyone else's point of view, that looked completely wrong.
Everyone gasped as they thought she...

After that, everyone was silent, even the teacher. The whole lesson, no one else but the teacher spoke. It was really awkward.

----Lunch----

Despite the uncomfortable interaction earlier, Rui was still intent on meeting Tsukasa and rushed up the stairs, eager to see his friend.
He had arrived to the rooftop, completely out of breath. He looked out over the cityscape, taking a moment to catch his breath.
Taking in the breathtaking view, he was reminded of why he had come there in the first place.

Tsukasa.

There, he saw Tsukasa, sitting by himself, the poor boy. Rui was heartbroken seeing his crush eating by himself. Rui needed to be the first one to accompany him.
Rui walked over to Tsukasa, sitting next to him.

"Hey, kasa!~"

"hi.. rui."
Tsukasa said in a sad tone, not in his usual bright, lovely, confident voice.

"Oh my, whats up with the sad tone, tsukasa-kun?"
Rui asked, curious on why he was acting so sad.

"Well... emu and nene.. *sniff* a car hit them on their way to school.."
Tsukasa was trying his best to act tough but in reality he was about to burst.

"Oh my god! Where are they now!?" Rui said, concerned for his friends.

"I dont know.. probably in hospital..:

Rui hated seeing Tsukasa like that, he feels as if he failed his job on always making him smile.
Rui looked down at the ground, trying to keep his tears from exposing how sad he was. He didn't know what to do in these situations.

Suddenly, something sharp hit him, rui immediately put a hand on his arm.

There was nothing there? But he felt something pierce his skin. Turning so Tsukasa couldn't see, rui lifted his sleeve and saw there was a wide wound on his arm, but it wasnt bleeding.
The pain was absolutely horrible, the wound was turning purple too. He gritted his teeth, where had this come from??!!

Rui decided to hide it and suck up the pain, he didn't want to make Tsukasa any more worried than he already is. He covered the wound with his sleeve and turned to face Tsukasa once again.

Suddenly, another pain struck but this time it was at his chest. It felt like a bruise? He didnt want to check, it would probably be gross.

Rui had noticed Tsukasa was slightly side eyeing him as well as having his face stuffed in his hands. Rui decided to not point it out, instead he brushed Tsukasa's hair with his fingers.

He did this for about a minute until Tsukasa finally realised what he was letting rui do to him.

He jumped back,

"A- W-WHAT THE HELL RUI, why are u so weird ..."
His whole face was pink, rui found his reaction quite cute so he only giggled and did his usual cat smile.

"I hate that smile of yours so so so SO much!"

He knew Tsukasa was joking, right? HE WAS JOKING... RIGHT?

Rui didnt want to think about the negative side of things, he decided to act like he didnt find it offensive and just giggled again.

Then, a girl approached them..
