mattia didn't showered in the locker room, nor he changed his clothes after practice. he would somehow always have the clothes already on him when the time came.

once the practice was over, he would just grab his bag and leave at difference from the rest of the boys that would stay and shower the sweat off their body's. some say it's because he was shy, or was ashamed of his size. typical stuff that their grade would think off.

but they weren't far from the true. mattia was, indeed ashamed of his body. more specifically of the scars and fresh wounds that he'd received from his father.

they covered his body. his chest, his stomach, his back; filled with red wounds and old scars that had healed with his own care.

mattia wouldn't dare to take his shirt off in between the other boys. the stares of the team would be enough to cause and outbreak and end in mattia punching each and one of them. it wasn't his fault, it was his own self defense that would make him that way. it was all he'd experienced. fights, punches, blood.
