After making sure Eri was all set to go with Momo I went my own way to meet with Shota. Upon getting to his office, I knocked once before allowing myself the liberty to enter. "What can I help you with Shota?" I asked with my app.

"Take a seat kid. You don't have to answer what I ask but I want to ask you something and then we can talk about it afterward. Oh, and I would love it if you stuck it out rather than leaving if you don't like something I ask okay?" I nodded to him and then began to brace myself for the questions. "Alright, first thing I want to ask is how the hell you lost your arm. I know you lied when you said it happened so far back that you can't remember. So how did you lose it?" I stayed quiet and looked at him with what I hoped was a blank face. "Okay since that question as of now is a dud let's move on to the voice app on your phone. For what purpose would you need that? Why would you be concerned about something happening causing you to lose your voice if you were only working as a barista and taking your cat out for occasional walks?"

"If a villain attack had happened while I was at work or walking home and something happened that damaged my voice box. I made it for that purpose."

"That's a pretty far-fetched just in case since you could teleport out of the situation by saying two words in the blink of an eye. Let's say I believe that. In the last four years, there have only ever been two villain attacks that happened in the area you lived and worked, and each time they were shut down in a matter of two or three minutes. So what made you think that you had I high probability of losing your ability to speak?"

"There's always a chance. Even if not due to a villain attack there have been numerous cases of people waking up unable to talk even though they were fine and able to talk the night before. Next to that, I mentioned it was for the off chance of me losing the ability to talk."

"Alright, let's stick with that for now. Why have you almost always phrased things like you were going to be alone up till the very end? Or like you were going to die young or something?" Again I stayed quiet for a few seconds before beginning to type.

"Why ask that question when you already know the answer Eraser?" I asked him back as I looked at him with dead eyes. "You asked me why I was cocky in knowing I could match or beat you when we sparred and I know you saw me smile when you told me only one person had ever bested you. So why do you think I phrase everything like it's going to be a final goodbye?"

I jumped slightly at his unexpected response of slamming his fist on his desk. "God damn it, kid. I've told you time and time again for the last four, almost five years. Stop trying to throw yourself under a bus. You have more than your fucking cat that cares about you! Why are you so set on throwing your future away?!"

"Cause once you know who my dad is and once I kill him I won't have a shred of safety anywhere! The entire villain underworld will be after my fucking head! The heroes will be after me to keep my power under their control! My final act is to kill my father and bring down everything he built with him!" I told him as the words appeared next to my head while I stood up and I slammed my hands down on his desk with anger and determination lining my every facial feature.

"You are a kid! You don't need to take down or kill anyone! For fucks sake no one cares about who the hell your dad is! Your parents don't determine who the hell you become!"

"So you don't care that my father is One For All?!" This caused him to pause briefly.

"Your dad's name is Hisashi..."

"It's one of his many aliases! I am the only living child of his and he wants to turn me into him! He killed my mom and framed me for it so that I would either be arrested and couldn't become a hero, or so that I would become a runaway murderer with nowhere to go but to him! He has been trying to back me into a damn corner since I became widely known as the untamed and magically appearing hero!"
