The next day (sorry for all of the next day skips! I just don't know what to put lmao)

Chris's POV

Me and my family were currently having breakfast in our kitchen. I was almost done as my parents were still eating, but Lily was playing with Jim and Sid on the table. She giggled. "Did you hear them bubba?" She asked. I shook my head. "Well..they said you look dumb." "Lily!" My mom called. She looked at her. "What..? They did!" She said. "That's not very nice." My dad said.

"Tell Jim that! He was the one that said it!" She said. My mom rolled her eyes. I looked back at Jim and Sid, who were currently looking at me, too. "At least I don't look like a weird doll." I replied. My sister looked at me and gasped. "That's rude!" "They called me dumb!" I said. She paused. "Chris, when you're finished, go upstairs. Corey and Shawn put a gift for you together." Sid said. "And your sister is right, that was rude." Jim said.

I looked at Sid confused, but nodded. "Uh, I'm done." I abruptly said. My parents nodded and I got up. I cleaned my plate and headed upstairs. "Wait! Bubba! Sid and Jim said to take him with you!" She called. I turned around and went to collect them. I put them under my arms and began to walk upstairs again.

Reaching my room, I could see the gift on my bed. I studied it and closed the door with my foot. It was a custom made mask. "Dumbass put us down! This is so uncomfortable!" Jim ordered. "Oh, oops." I said. I carefully placed them on the floor and watched them turn human. Jim brushed himself off and gave me a death glare.

"How dare you say I look stupid." I said. He rolled his eyes. "It's true." He replied. "Whatever." "Put on your mask Chris!" Sid said. I looked back at the mask. It was a Pinocchio like mask with a zipper mouth and grey skin. I walked over to it and picked it up. "Well? What do you think?" Jim asked. "It's scary." I replied.

They both laughed. "Good." Jim said. I slipped it over my head and secured it in the back. Sid gasped and smiled. "Yes! You're gonna be perfect!" He said. "Yea, you're gonna have to wear that next time you come over." Jim said. "Next time?" I asked. They both nodded. "Clown wanted you to come back. He needs a drum buddy, and Joey is always with Corey so.." Sid said trailing off.

"Whats up with them anyway?" I asked. They shrugged. "Joey really praises Corey for transitioning him. He didn't have the best home life." Jim said. "Yea, now they're best friends and Joey is kinda Corey's assistant." Sid finished. I nodded. "They seem kinda gay..I know. But they're not....I think." Jim said.

"You think?!" Sid laughed. Jim laughed as well. "Well I don't know! Anything is possible, considering we're spirits and all." Jim said. I just stayed quiet and listened. They both looked back at me and started to laugh. "Sorry! Kinda forgot you were there!" Jim said in between laughs. "'Tis fine." I replied.

Sid slowly stopped laughing. "Uh..anyways. Corey and Clown said that they have more gifts they're probably gonna give you." He said. "Why?" I asked. He shrugged. "They wanna make you feel welcomed and loved." Jim replied. "That's how they did it with me, at least." He finished. "I was just like you. I was skeptic and very unwilling, but, they made my life so much better." Jim added.

I nodded. "What's so great about it anyway?" I asked. "It's just fun to be around them. Not to mention all the cool side effects you get." Sid replied. I nodded. Suddenly, Mick appeared. "Sorry to interrupt, but Corey needs us home." He said. They both nodded. "We'll see ya, Chris." Jim said. I nodded and they waved, leaving me to my thoughts.

After about 5 hours of uninterrupted silence, Joey appeared on the side of my bed, making me jump. "Sorry." He said. I sighed. "Do you need something?" I asked, kinda annoyed of the presence. "Uhm..no. I-I can go." He said. "No no, why'd you come here though?" I asked. He got excited again. "Because Clown made ya a lil' something." He replied. I sat up and faced him.

He pulled a plushie out of his pockets. "You just have big pockets that you carry around stuff animals in?" I asked. He smiled and shook his head. "No, but today I was wearing my cargo jeans soo..I got big pockets. Plus, I didn't wanna ruin the surprise!" He replied. "What is it- oh." He handed me the doll and I examined it.

It was a doll that had my mask and looked a bit like me. "You see, Clown is the best when it comes to arts and crafts! He made all of our dolls! Isn't that cool??" He asked. I nodded. "It's cool." I replied. He excitedly nodded. "So when you transition, you'll be able to morph into that!" He said. I nodded. "Well...you mean IF I transition." I said.

He cleared his throat and nodded. "Right..yea. You still are deciding?" "Well yea. Duh. I'm not gonna decide in one day." I said. He interlocked his fingers in front of his legs. "Right..sorry." He apologized. I frowned. "That came off a bit rude. Sorry." I said. He shook his head. "No no no you're right! It was a stupid question." He said.

Then again, someone appeared. This time it was Clown. "C'mon Joey, we gotta-. Oh, I see you have the doll." Clown said. I nodded and Joey quickly looked up at him. "Sorry! I just really wanted to give it to him!" Joey quickly apologized. Clown shrugged. "It's fine joes. But anyway! Do you like it? I'll make another if not." Clown asked.

I shook my head. "Not needed. I really like it, it's cool." I replied. He smiled through his mask and Joey hurried away to his side. "Good good, I was worried you wouldn't like it." Clown laughed. I nodded. "But seriously, we gotta go. Corey's been looking for you everywhere, Joey." Clown said. "Oh god.." Joey mumbled. He quickly disappeared, but it took Clown a minute before completely disappearing.

I studied the doll for a while before putting it on my nightstand. They really want me to join, huh? It couldn't be that bad transitioning, right? But I couldn't do that! I couldn't be a spirit! Nor could I be a doll! But they seem so goddamn welcoming. They tried to kill me though! I sighed, I'd have to think about this in the morning.
