Chapter Three

The Next Day

Chris's POV

     I walk into my sisters bedroom and find her sitting with all of the dolls. She was handing them tea and biscuits. "Here you go Sid!" She said. "Uhm..Lily?" I asked. She turned her head to me. "Oh hi bubba! You wanna come play?" She asked. "Uh.." I could see all of their eyes shift to me. "Come sit! ..please?!!!" She squealed. I sighed. "I-.." I paused to sigh. "Fine.." She smiled as I went and sat next to her.

     "So Jim said that we are missing one." She said. I raised an eyebrow. "I thought you found them all with Sid?" "Apparently not.. Jim said his name is Corey and he is the boss of them." She said. "When Clown isn't around." One of them said. I jumped and she looked at me. "Did you hear him?" She asked. I looked at her frightened, but nodded. She smiled.

     "Good! Now we can actually play together!" She said. I sighed and started to shake again. I looked at my arms and saw that I had goosebumps. I bundled myself into a ball and looked up at Joey and Clown. "Has uh...has Joey or Clown ever threatened you, Lily?" I asked, not taking my eyes off the dolls. "What?! No! They're my friends! They wouldn't do that!" She said.

     "Why would we do that?" Clown asked. "I-..." I didn't respond. All the dolls stared at me, but Joey's mask turned into a terrifying grin. "We're FRIENDS. Not your enemies..it's rude to assume that, Chris." He spoke. "Yea! That probably hurt their feelings!" Lily said. "Now apologize." She ordered. I sighed. "S-sorry.." I said. 

      They ALL turned into this creepy smile. "We forgive you, Chris." Sid said. I shook worse. "Random uh..question. Are you guys human..?" I asked. Some smiles faded, some stayed. None of them responded though. "Didn't you show me that trick, Mick?" Lily asked. Mick didn't respond. "They can!" Lily joyfully said.

      "Doesn't that scare you?" I asked. She shook her head. "We only want friends..no one wanted us when the others moved in. We don't want to harm." Paul said. I nodded. "Cmon! Show him! It'll be cool!" She begged. "We can't right now." Sid said. "Aww..why?" She asked. "It's too open.." Jim said. "The cellar is better." Mick said.

      "Ok!" Lily said. "Cmon Chris! Grab one, we're gonna go into the cellar so they can show you!" She said. I shakily nodded. I got up and grabbed Joey, Shawn, Sid and Paul. We made our way to the cellar. "Chris, you playing nice with Lily?" My mom asked. I nodded. "W-we're going to the cellar." "Why?" "To-uh..play with the dolls.." I said. She nodded. We opened the door leading to the cellar and walked down. 

      We carefully placed them down and sat in a circle like we always did. "So, you wants to go first?" Lily asked. No one responded. She paused and looked around. "Mick, can you? We wanna hear you play guitar!" She said with a big grin. "I suppose.." He replied. He started to shake and I started getting nervous. He, just like Clown and Joey did, morphed into this HUGE guy with sleek black hair. 

       Lily giggled and got up and..hugged him. She didn't even go up to his chest! He was way over 6 foot. I started to badly shake, and as I did, he hugged her back with one arm.  "Can you play guitar now?" She asked. He didn't say anything. "Pretty please?" He sighed and let go. He walked over to his Jackson and picked it up. 

       "Just a warning, Chris. Dont.ever.touch my guitar." He said. I nodded. He picked up a guitar pick and started to lightly strum it. Since there was no amp, he played it clean. Then, Jim started to shake and soon enough, he also turned human. He was somehow BIGGER than him. Lily gasped. "Wow Jim! I didn't think you were that tall!" She said. He smiled through his mask and grabbed his guitar.

       "W-who haven't you seen human yet..?" I asked Lily. "All of them except Mick." She replied. I nodded. "Get your amps out! We can jam!" She said. Mick looked at Jim and he looked back. "We can't be loud though.." Jim said. "Why not?" "I'm pretty sure your parents wouldn't want us to be with you." Mick replied. "But you guys are so cool!" She said.
