"Where am I?!" Jon thought to himself in this chilling room that he found himself in "and where are Garfield and Odie?!" "Garfield?! Odie?!" he yelled into the non-linear, yellow room, Jon soon realized that he was alone. he was scared because of this, he hoped that his two pets were fine, albeit they would have the same feelings as him in their new environment.
"Oh, great!" Jon thought to himself, "I am alone in this unforgiving place that has trapped me just because I put the boy's favourite dishes a little funny, I have survived this place and hopefully get back home!"
Jon felt the mental struggle catch up to him even though he was just in this liminal space, the fluorescent lights were emitting a hum that was louder than the usual lights he had seen and heard when he went to the vet to meet Liz and get a check-up on Garfield from her, Jon sensed his shoes were a little soggy in the carpet that he was standing on, Jon knew from the beginning that it was not a good idea to drink it. "God knows what I could have stepped into." he thought to himself.
Jon realized he spent a good bit of time standing there, doing nothing productive. "I need to get out of this treacherous place!" he said to himself, he followed the fluorescent lights using it as a guide, Jon kept a mobile phone with him in times of need like this, but when he used the GPS app, it failed. "Gosh darn it!" he thought to himself slightly tense from the lack of help he could get, not forgetting that he was separated from Garfield and Odie.
After following the fluorescent lights, Jon soon saw what he thought was an end to his quest of walking forward and was faced with either walking left or right, Jon decided to do a little bit of Eeny meany miny moe, and after that decision, he chose to go right as soon as he made the decision the lights turned off for a quick second and were back on. "Oh great! I see this is what it's going to be," he told to himself.
Jon turned to see more of the same as the last time, however, the lights were more dispersed than they were last time, and there was a large wall boxing Jon in, he could only go back or forward, Jon decided to move toward the inconsistently laid out lights that were also flickering quite badly, the noise was certainly one thing that Jon wished he could keep quiet, the soggy carpet was still felt in his shoes, Jon hoped to get out of here soon.
Meanwhile, Garfield and Odie were in the same situation as Jon, they were shocked and confused with the new environment that they were thrust into, "Okay... What to do." Garfield thought to himself, "Any observations, Odie?" he asked him, Odie yipped and barked many times pointing at the ceiling and floor which Garfield interpreted as "The ceiling has fluorescent lights that are inconsistently laid out and hum loudly compared to the ones back home, the floor is slightly soggy with some unidentified liquid, I would recommend not drinking it."
"Thanks, Odie!" Garfield thought, Odie, nodded at him "Now, what should we do to get out of this hell we got ourselves into?" he thought once more, Garfield soon decided that he and Odie would move forward until they encountered an obstruction, the two started to move and soon encountered an obstruction, just below a flickering light, the noise was driving Garfield little nuts, they decided to turn left. The lights flickered like in Jon's case and for a split second became pitch black, Odie started yipping in terror. "Shh!" Garfield harshly thought to Odie "You could get us killed!" Odie went silent almost immediately.
As Jon was trying to comprehend how he got himself into this situation and how he could adapt to this new environment, he realized that he would have to do something drastic to get out of there. but for now, his mind was stuck on trying to find his companions who were separated, Jon continued walking along this yellow, damp maze of irregularity. "Garfield?! Odie?!" he cried out in desperation, tears almost obscuring his vision.
Garfield and Odie heard Jon's cries across the space they were in. "I guess that means Jon is near! Come on, Odie! Show me what you got!" he told his canine friend, Odie braked once and Garfield jumped onto his back. "Giddyup Boy!" Garfield commanded him, Odie went so fast that Garfield found it hard to comprehend how Odie was going so fast, he blazed through large portions of the maze-like structures that were in front of them, and the echoes of Jon's voice were still reverberating.
