Blood Donor's POV

I drove the bike until it was out of gas, in a waste land, out in the middle of nowhere... Great. I groaned and parke0d the bike, by now it was horizon and I needed to find shade quickly. I got off and pushed the bike for about three more miles until I took another break, my breathing was heavy and sweat dripped from my pores. I missed being alive, or at least moving around but this was just shit, and I had to find water soon or I'll die of dehydration. I pushed the bike onward though because I needed to find shade for the girl on the bike, I feel as if I have seen her before, like I know her but only through dreams. Was she the one I was seeing in my head? Looked awfully similar to her, but I'm sure she's not.

Now I was beat and there was not sight of shade any where and it was scortching outside by now, it was mid-day. I was thinking about putting a jacket over the girl but I knew she would over heat.. was she one of them? I wanted to know before I passed out so I leaned over a bit and examined her face, her skin covered in dirt and sweat. I opened her mouth to look at her teeth and nothing was there, no signs of rotting or decaying gums.. Hmm well this is odd. How did she make it into the cave or some shit without being attacked? She had a heartbeat from what I could hear, and a pulse which meant she had fresh blood corsing through her.

Ouch! Fuck! I looked down at my arm which felt like some took a match to it and just fucking set my arm on fire, but nothing was there. I pulled up my sleeve and examined my scratch closely to see that sweat had gotten into the cut causing it to sting. Well isn't that surprising? I shook my head and pulled my sleeve back down before pushing the bike another full mile, when I finished the mile I put the kick-stand down and just collapsed on the ground. I was fucking tired and nothing was going to stop me from taking a nap right now, I needed rest.

All I did was close my eyes for what seemed a minute or two but when I opened my eyes, or slightly opened them... I saw the girl being carried in someone's arms leading to a helicopter while I was left on the ground. I wanted to stop them, I seriously tried to move but I couldn't, I didn't have the energy or strength too. I watched as they took her away and fly off somewhere, I was devastated I wasn't there to wake her up to find out what the hell was going on! FUCK! I pushed myself to move but all I could do was cough and roll onto my stomach and I just gave up, my muscles were tired and my skin felt like someone was putting my on fire. I had given up, well wasn't this just a short life I had, well I had fun.. I closed my eyes a drifted to sleep again.

I felt something cool dab on my face and on my lips before some water was forced into my mouth, I opened my eyes and inhaled the water.. wow I'm a dumbass.. I started to cough up the water and sit up before a hand was put on my chest to force me down a bit. I controlled the cough and looked at the man beside me. I took notice I was in a underground structure, I remember seeing these when I went to war. I looked back at the man who looked tired as much as I did and old, his grey hair filthy with dirt and god knows what, his beard long and scraggly. The man's skin was sagging on his face, and droopy eyes; proabbly from lack of sleep.

"Ain't no use for you to use up all that energy son, take it slow ya hear?" The old man demanded at which i could only nod.

The old man stood up and walked over to what looked like a cot in the other side of the room. He exhaled loudly when he sat down, he had signs of arthritis in his back, hands, and knees. How did he find me? How did her get me here and where exactly is here? I sat up slowly like the man had ordered and grabbed the many glasses of water next the this cot. I chugged two of them before the old man interupted.

"Son don't chug them like that, you'll be out of it again and I ain't going to help you again." He hollard to me as i slowed my drinking, I nodded while sipping the water as he told me to.
