Dean woke up early, he's used to being asleep later but he woke up just in time for him and Cas to get ready for school. He sat at the edge of his bed and leaned down to Cas who was asleep quietly, he looked like a sleeping angel. Not wanting to wake Cas in his perfect sleeping state, but knowing he had to, Dean nudged Cas awake. Cas groaned in protest for he was probably sore and in pain.

"Come on Cas it's time to get up...ill give you some pain medicine-"

"No it's okay Dean,"

Cas sat himself up slowly cringing and wincing in pain a little. Dean instinctively went behind Cas and pushed his back up to help him sit up. he saw Cas get goosebumps up and down his arms and his neck hairs stand up, which made Dean smile with delight that his touch made Cas happy.
"Can you stand up by yourself Cas?"

"Yes Dean."
Cas rolled onto his knees and slowly but surely stood up stretching his arms. He stared at Dean for a moment but the proceeded to walk to the living room,
"Imma just get dressed."

"Okay well would you like some breakfast?"
"Sure, have any hash browns and sunny side up eggs with little orange slices at the end of them?" Cas laughed at himself.
"Cereal it is."
Cas grabbed his white t-shirt with black words sprawled across it, "Reality is just an illusion" and a pair of jeans.
"Dean?"

"Yes Cas?"

"Where is the restroom?"

"Down the hall next to my bedroom."
Cas listened to dean's instructions and headed down the hallway to get changed, he ruffled his hair a little then flattened it again. Dean poured a bowl of Frosted Flakes and set another aside for Cas and for when he arrived out of the bathroom. As Cas came out dressed and spiffy looking, Dean also headed to the bathroom to get changed. Cas took upon himself to eat his cereal and patiently waited for Dean to be ready to go. Cas was thankful that Dean had been so helpful due to his injury and was also thankful that he was friendly, and wasn't influenced by jerk face Metatron. Once Dean stepped out of the restroom with his normal plaid shirt and his scruffy leather jacket that Cas loved seeing him wear. Cas slid the rest of Dean's cereal to him,
"Eat up its almost time to go."

Dean gobbled up the rest of his cereal, as well as Cas and they headed off to school. The walk there was silent but Cas would look at Dean, and he would be staring. He wouldn't try to even look away, even when Cas wasn't looking at him, Dean continued to stare.

"Dean..."
"Yes Cas?"

"Why are you staring at me?"

"Because I am.."

Cas didn't know how to respond to Dean's answer. He just let him stare at him for the rest of the walk to school. Once they reached the campus Dean stopped Cas for a moment and was standing REALLY close to him,

"D-ean?"

"Cas I would like to talk to you after school..."

"Oka-y but why?"

Dean didn't answer Cas's question and walked off to his class. Cas watched him go before turning around to head to science. Once he walked in he felt lonely, he was used to Dean's company but during school they only had two classes together, which to Cas didn't seem enough.

"Class, I'm not feeling all to well today so we are just going to have a game day..." Mr. Raphael didn't look so hot either, his skin was pale and he was sweating a bit, that's where Cas had to give Mr. Raphael props. No matter how bad he was feeling he would come to school to teach the kids what needed to be taught, instead of sending in a useless substitute that wouldn't be able to help them at all and stand there like a clueless bird. Cas sat there and watched everyone pull out bored games from cabinets and cupboards. He sat there by himself, once In a while getting puzzle pieces or board game pieces chucked at him. Cas wished he could stand up for himself And just...at least try to stand to fight for himself, he didn't want to see Dean to get hurt. He wanted to be strong for Dean...and fight for him like a soldier from heaven. The bell eventually rang and Cas was the first one to walk out of the building, mostly do to everyone else picking up the board games and not being prepared for the bell. Heading towards english, he saw Dean taking a route to his class, it was in Cas's route.
