Little Fair

The night came down quickly, Cas had fallen asleep on the window to the sound of Dean's music that he had become fond of. He also became fond of Dean's singing because he just sounded so perfect when he did sing. Cas had begged him multiple times on the drive to sing something and finally Dean gave into it and sung "Dead or Alive" which made Cas squirm and giggle in delight.
Dean had texted Cas's mother that he would be spending the night with him so his mother did not get suspicious and wonder why Castiel was out so late. Although Cas's mom was very relaxed and seemed to let things slide once in a while, multiple things piling up like ditching school and now going on a joy ride with Dean isn't going to go smoothly pass Mrs.Novak.
Dean looked at the time which read "8:00" on his dashboard. Dean sighed. he hadn't thought about where he was driving...he just drove. He started to hate the town that he had met Cas in and wanted to love it. He wanted to love it because it's where they had shared a kiss with each other, it where Cas had become Dean's friend. But with all the drama that Dean despised and Metatron, and his father, Dean just wanted to be away for a while, and he could tell Cas needed to be away as well.
Dean looked in the distance and saw flashing lights, perhaps a town? He decided to nudge Cas up, he groaned in protest and he uncurled himself from his trench coat to look tiredly at Dean

"Yes Dean?"

"There's some lights out there, wana head that way?"

"Sure, maybe it's a town or something."

"My thoughts exactly"

Dean gave the car a sharp turn down the road leading towards the lights. As they approached the blinking colorful lights they realized that it was in fact not a town, but a fair.

"DEAN!! Look it's a fair!!"

Cas pointed and jumped up and down in his seat excitedly.

"You wana go?"

"YES"

Dean started to turn the car around away from the fair and Cas gave Dean the biggest puppy eyes,

"WHAT are you DOING!?"

"Maybe I don't wana go"

Dean chuckled then turned the black Impala back around towards the fair,

"Dean come ooonnn!!"

Cas was squirming around in his seat, Dean laughed at his teasing to Cas,

"Alright alright!"

Dean drove back towards the fair, Cas stretched his hand out towards Dean's free hand which was sitting on the center counsel. Dean noticed his boyfriends hand and entwined his fingers with his. They finally reached up to a dirt parking lot where another hundred cars were parked, right outside the gates for the fair.

"Ah this is gonna be so fun Dean!"

Dean smiled and let go of Cas's hand as he backed up into a parking spot and parked the impala. Cas immediately unbuckled himself and sprung out of the car, he adjusted his tie and trench coat before running over to Dean's side patiently waiting for him to step out of the vehicle.

"Alright Cassie where Ya wana go first?"

"Hmmmm....I wana play some games or somethin."

Dean chuckled as he took his hand and led him to the entrance to the fair, Dean took out his wallet and handed the man sitting in a chair twenty dollars for the both of them to get in.

"Thank you Dean so much!!"

"No problem Cas, consider this our, first date."

Cas smiled in joy as he walked through and watched the people smiling and laughing, some people drunken up, which didn't surprise Cas.
