𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗬, moving away to a different land. A land far away from what was known as home. A place where she lived her whole life would go away; by just floating through clouds and past the oceans. It felt dolorous, departing from her haven.

The airplane rode through the sky as if it were on sleek and perfect tracks. She stared lifelessly at the wings of the plane. The white, hazy clouds gave no solace to her. They made her uneasy. The temperature inside the plane was so low she considered that the aeroplane accommodated the conveyance of frozen meat across the seas, not mortal passengers.

Hand under her chin, leaning against the walls of the aircraft, peeping out from the window was Yuichi Siera's pastime for the past hour. She finished reading a book, chugged three cups of Grande coffee, dozed for more than two hours and was now bored to tears. Unfortunately, she couldn't convey a soccer ball onto the aeroplane to keep her engaged. It was conceivably the worst day of her life.

"Dear passengers, this is your pilot, Ren Taichi. We thank you, once again, for choosing our airlines. We are delighted to inform you that we'll reach our destination, Tokyo, in ten minutes. Thank you very much," the pilot voiced over the intercom from the cockpit. Yuichi Siera breathed a sigh of relief. She couldn't and wouldn't sit on the seat for more than ten minutes now. They had arrived.

She turned to the passenger on her right: her mother. Yuichi Rin gave her a fleeting smile before tugging her into a hug. Yuichi Tatsuki sitting next to the pair put on a tremendous smile. It was for him that the two most significant women of his life had given up on everything in the US and acquiesced to start afresh back in Japan. They were both reticent, the more immature one more problematic than the other, but they had reached a give-and-take. A concession that they could do whatever they wanted in the new nation.

"Dear passengers, please buckle your seatbelts. We are to land in a few minutes," a lovely air hostess said on the mic. There was brisk rustling all around the plane. Everybody was exhausted by the five-hour voyage and desired to get off the aeroplane as soon as possible.

She leaned back on her seat, peeping out the window at the clearing clouds and the ground beneath. All the houses, vehicles, and people arose like Lego blocks engineered to quintessence. For the first time, Siera beamed. Perhaps moving away wasn't going to be dreadful after all. After about a minute or so, the aeroplane landed on the brightly lit tarmac, wheels kissing the earth with a light, joyous bounce. It was over. Her current voyage came to a stop. However, unbeknownst to her, there was a more challenging expedition waiting for her.
