At the table, the young man sat with his hands encircling the hot coffee mug. Steam rose from the cup, wrapping around his face like a warm blanket. The rich aroma of coffee filled the air, its scent dancing playfully with his senses. A rich and complex flavour of coffee that seemed to unfold as a story rolled across his tongue as he took a sip. He savoured the flavour, allowing it to linger on his tongue like a warm embrace. It was bitter and bold, with just a hint of sweetness to balance it out.
He fell back onto the table and sighed. He stared at the screens, watching a game between two teams. The soccer game was a discordance of motion and strategy, with each player moving on the pitch like he was the only one on the field. The ball zipped back and forth, a tiny orb of energy that appeared to have its own mind. The players' feet appeared to be in asynchronous motion with the ball, guiding it with the blasting devastating power towards the goal, unbothered about drawbacks of the situation. Ego was important to be a striker, but ego without thought was just stupidity.
He was drawn in by the door's gentle buzzing as it opened. The real deal, Ego Jinpachi, was there. The mastermind mind was dressed in all black and walked with a neutral expression.
The man nodded slightly and said, "Ego," keeping his eyes on the screen. He laughed sarcastically and said, "I admire what cha tryin' to do, but these worms are so weak." Anyone listening to him speaks would be put into a trance by the silky smoothness of his voice. His statuesque frame spoke of strength and power, with broad shoulders and a muscular body. With white teeth that sparkled, his smile was contagious and brightened up his face. He sat like a king, leaning back on the chair.
He snapped, "They just started the program." Ego was undoubtedly enraged. He tried to remain calm despite his contorted expression of rage, which included his eyes blazing like twin fires and severely furrowed brows. His nostrils flared with each gasping breath, and his fists balled up so tightly that the veins in his arms stood out like cords. This conceited brat believed he could show up and do whatever he liked. He emphasized, "Nobody can grow in a day."
The young man rolled his eyes and said, "Oh, I see." He smirked, laughing at Ego's expression, "Let's hope they do improve since the Japanese Soccer Association ain't gonna like it."
His glasses were perfectly positioned, and his chiselled jawline could cut through glass. His piercing brown eyes appeared to look deep into the soul. He had messy hair, but each strand was in its position. He may have been a little too harsh on the helpless mastermind.
"Is that a threat?" Ego enquired. His eyes were focused as he regarded the young man with distrust as he stood there with his arms crossed. He was surrounded by a definite sense of uncertainty as if mocking the other. His furrowed brow and lines of scepticism on his face indicated that he was not easily convinced. His eyes were piercing, searching the man's face for any indications of deceit.
The guy chuckled. His laughter reverberated off the walls and filled the room. It had a strong character that was contagious. His cheeks flushed with colour, his eyes wrinkled at the corners, and his face lighted up with delight as he laughed. His magnificent teeth glittered in the light as his mouth opened wide. But even as he laughed, a sneer crept across his lips, and his eyes sparkled with derision. He was delighted in making fun of other people and enjoying their plight. He responded with a jeer, "Take it however you like," he replied with a jeer, "But make sure to deliver, or else, 'Heads will roll' as the President says."
He strode out of the room, with a fabulous grace, dominating attention without even trying.
