Hello, my name is Atsuki Sai. What a day. Saved my ass from getting kicked out of Japanese soccer. Honestly, it is kinda hard to fit in here. Everyone is either too stoic or too excited. Nobody has fucking emotional control. I haven't talked to a single dude, but I know they will ignore or fanboy over me. Stupid-ass people. Dear book, I might sound a little conceited, but I am not. I stick with people who have my temperament. Honestly, I'm doing this for Mom. Writing diaries are not my thing. This, apparently, helps me in keeping my anger in check. Nothing much has happened so far in Bluelock, apart from knocking out a soccer enthusiast from Japanese soccer forever. That Mr Ego is pretty intense and creepy AF. So, it's 9 PM, and I'm bored. So, tomorrow is apparently a workout day, which I'm gonna wreck. So... Ok. Bye, bud.
Yours sincerely,
Sai...

Scrawling into the diary, Siera sank back onto the sleeping bag. She chewed her lip, eyeing the boys coming into the enclosure. She scrutinised each of them painstakingly. Everyone was a unique type— two were softies, three were over-excited, one was an irate Pokémon, and one 'I'm Mr Eight-pack'. Then, there was the long-haired diva, the under-confident juvenile and the green-haired 'I'm fucking better than you all, peasants'. Eleven downright distinct boys, one team. Way to go, Jinpachi Ego.

Her eyes pivoted to a pair of raging teal eyes staring at her. They would have been beautiful if the owner had a little less attitude. What a total waste of gorgeous eye colour. Not breaking eye contact once, he sauntered up to her. He stood beside her head, making him appear upside-down to her. It was as if he was trying to strong-arm her, but she didn't flinch.

"You," he ordered. His hands were in his pocket, and his bangs concealed one of his eyes. He looked alluring, but his disposition could bathe in the drainage. Siera's current green eyes met his azure eyes; it was as if there was a galvanic spark— Not the electric spark of lovers but that of enemies. They were each other's rivals, and they understood it. Time flew remarkably unhurriedly at that juncture. The whole room gazed at them, two of the strongest. Silence transpired, and all the chattering perished. "What you did there was...," he trailed off, gritting his teeth.

"Was...?" she asked, lifting her brows. She still lay on her sleeping bag, not moving an inch. The boy was seething, and there could not be a setting more mirthful than this. His hands were fists, his eyes were staring off to the side, and he stood still, towering over the girl. He was in repudiation, she thought. She felt proud of herself and deemed an exhilarating thrill of showing off.

"Despicable," he declared. The rest of the lot gasped, well, most of them. The Atsuki boy had pulled off the most astonishing thing one could do, and this Itoshi lad said it was deplorable. He could have used any other word but not that.

Siera sat up and put her book aside. She ran her hand through her and burst out laughing. It wasn't a squeaky giggle like a girl, but it was deep, hoarse laugh of extreme sarcasm. Her laugh echoed through the chamber. Deep down, she knew he wasn't wrong; To do that in a real soccer match would be impossible. It would depend on who would reach the ball first and doing that in a match would be a great gamble.

"As far I can see, you think others are weak and thus don't talk to them. Now, suddenly you let go off your ego and came to talk to me," she said, inching closer to him, "That is something." She chuckled at the boy and whispered, "You," pointing to his chest, "Mr-I-Can-Beat-Anyone, are jealous, aren't you, cutie-pie?" then she did the unthinkable. She pinched his cheeks and pulled his head side-to-side, as if he was a dog. The entire room was dead silent.

There was a sudden announcement which snapped everyone from their daze: "Atsuki Sai is requested to go to the Training Room; everyone else stay in your rooms," a feminine voice said, who Siera knew was Anri-san. She smiled pushing past the green-haired genius and leaving the room, in an awestruck silence.

Author's Note: Hello, fabulous readers! Thank you all so much for 1K+ reads 🔥🔥🔥! So, I need your opinions on some things. One, should there be love interest? If yes, then who should it be? Two, can any of you suggest some cover creating websites? Finally, what do you all think of the Neo Egoist League Arc? Anyway, I'm really sorry for the inconsistent updates; planning to update every week (hopefully) 🤞. Hope you liked the chapter. Any suggestions, ideas or constructive criticism is always appreciated. Adios, amigosss! 👋
