Jiang Cheng was staring at the empty room he shared with his Shidi, trying to figure out what Wei WuXian was up to.
For days now since being punished for drinking, Wei WuXian was nowhere to be found. Concerned about what trouble Wei WuXian could be getting into, Jiang Cheng began searching Cloud Recess and after an hour was frustrated with only finding Nie Huaisang behaving oddly.
First, he was slinking around in a very strange manner then Nie Huaisang was peeking around a corner of a building. Confused Jiang Cheng stood behind him and could only see the library, feeling aggravated he poked him saying"What are you doing you weirdo?!"
Nie Huaisang was so focused on unravelling the mystery of the strange behaviour of the Second Master Lan WangJi, he loudly yelped in fright as Jiang Cheng poked him. "I don't know! I really don't know!"
Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes at his friend's act and crossed his arms and glared at Nie Huaisang till he squirmed and confessed" Cheng- ge, I followed Xian-ge here... He had two bowls of food and I think he is meeting Lan WangJi! Haven't you noticed how Xian-ge and Lan WangJi disappear for hours? Or how they both seem to be together these days? But Lan WangJi is not giving Wei WuXian any punishment? I don't know what they are doing but I am going to find out!"
Jiang Cheng's face became grim as he nodded in agreement and together the two began to stealthily make their way to the library.

"Okay, firstly, when you asked me if I ate food, I thought you meant that we were going on a restaurant date. Secondly, how can you call that food? Where did you even get this from anyway?"
Wangji and Wei Ying had tidied themselves up and were now sitting in the library over two bowls of very spicy-looking noodles.
Wei Ying blushed at the mention of the word 'date' and avoided Wangji's walnut brown eyes.
" I snuck into the kitchens when no one was around, there were only some plain noodles in vegetable broth, so I thought I'd spice it up. Uh, I'm always used to eating spicy food back in Yunmeng." Wei Ying awkwardly huffed and scratched the back of his neck.
"You call this spicy?" Wangji smirked as he stuck his arm into his Qiankun pouch and pull out a small, fancy-looking jar with a fire-breathing dragon on the side.
"Jiangnan's Mighty Dragon five-blend chilli powder!" He proclaimed, placing it down on the desk. "Five different types of chilli with eighteen different spices and ingredients, including the Liquid Gold Wine from Shoubei Tavern and fermented black garlic from the far north. Eat at your own risk."
"Lan-er-gongzi, you really are full of surprises!" Wei Ying breathlessly laughed, truly shocked at Wangji's actions.
"But~ Since you've brought this out, how about we raise the stakes?" Wei Ying smirked, while Wangji raised an eyebrow.
"Oh? And just what do you mean by that?" Wangji crossed his arms with intrigue, as he looked Wei Ying up and down.
Wei Ying then pulled out his own red and black Qiankun pouch and pulled out a small, plain-looking bottle with the words 'Uncle Han's Chilli Oil' written on a red label.
Placing it down on the table, Wei Ying gave a wry smile while Wangji laughed.
"Wei-gongzi, when it comes to spice, I think you'll find I can take the heat." Wangji teasingly winked, placing his head in his hands.
"I grew up eating this stuff all the time." Wei Ying grinned, not backing down from the challenge.
"The loser had to call the other gege for the rest of the day." Wangji pointed a finger as he opened his jar, positive that he was going to win.
