My feet being me closer to her, and the edge of the water. "Neytiri."

I drop my head and smile, greeting her. She moves away from the plant, and walks over, next to me.

Her face glows as she looks to the water. She is beautiful.

"How was your day?"

"Good, I taught Tuk how to throw a net today."

She nods, and makes a face like she is thinking.

"I saw some of it." She sits down on the edge of the water. Her feet dangle into it.

Following, I watch the way her shoulders move as she breaths.

"You were watching?" My eyes move over to her.

She nods. The expression on her face is so insightful.

"You could not see me."

Shes right. I had no idea anyone was around. I figured it was only the kids and I.

"You are very good with her." She glances to me. "And Kiri."

"They both mean a lot to me. I only want to help."

"You were not like that in the beginning." My face turns shocked. How does she know this?

"Kiri told me."

"Tuk and her were a lot better than the boys in the beginning." I smile, reminiscing on the memories.

"My sons are strongheaded. Like their father." I nod. I've noticed this by now. Neteyam shares more qualities with his mom, but sometimes parts of Jake shine through.

"I like them much more now."

"I know. Kiri likes to talk about you. And you and Neteyam have become quite friends." I also like to talk about Kiri. Other then Neteyam she is my best friend.

But after her words, I look up at her, internally panicking. Has she noticed something with Neteyam?

Her face is still calm, indicating she has not thought about it like that. Hopefully her face means as much as what she is thinking.

"Im surprised we have." I breath out, thinking about the beginning of our friendship.

"I figured in time you all would get along." Looking at her eyes, I notice a small detail that is different from before.

Her suspicions were correct. Now we are all closer than ever. Roxto and Aonung are now friendly to all of us, my relationships have grown so much as well.

"Your family has done a lot for me." She looks over, expressing confusion in her face. "Since you've come to our village, they've shown me how to grow and overcome the past."

Her eyes widen, and I can tell she is proud of them. They've all had a hard time since coming here, and finally it's beginning to go back to normal.

"You've helped them as well Ni'awtu."

I smile. Hearing that I've helped someone, especially Neytiri, after hearing I am a disappointment from my father makes it better.

"Why did you come here?" I look out to the water, observing this place.

On the other side, there is a little flying animal.

"I miss my home." I nod. She is very strong for leaving. "It is good to think here."

"Im sorry for intruding. I will leave you." I press my hands on my thighs, getting ready to stand.

"No no, I like your company Ni'awtu."
