Everyone gathers around the big, loud, metallic thing that none of us have seen before.
It came flying over the horizon, at a very fast speed.
Neteyam told me about these. It is one of the sky peoples contraptions.
They got here only a couple hours after Kiris seizure, almost right away in the morning.
Jake guides them onto the sand, and when they land, another Na'vi instantly hops off. He has to be an avatar.
"Neteyam, keep them back!" Jake yells at his son.
I hope Jake does not think this will fly with my mother. If he does he is seriously mistaken.
More strangers to come to our home, from places we do not know. People we cannot trust.
Neteyam listens to his fathers instructions and moves away from the airship and holds out his hands to us, keeping us away.
I frown at him, confused and upset, and then turn away to find my mom.
Tsireya and I both follow our mother to the Sullys mauri, and wait outside.
The men from the airship have all kinds of strange technology set up, and checking all parts of Kiris body. It is the strangest thing Ive ever seen.
The machinery beeps and glows, but not in the way our forest glows.
"I see that I am not needed." My mother turns away, her face clearly upset.
Neytiri grabs her arm, and looks to her. "You are Tsahik!" She almost whispers. It is in a scary way.
"Remove these things!" My mother turns around, and demands the men. I smile when they do in fear.
"Out! You have done nothing!" Neytiri yells.
Im surprised she did not think of contacting my mother before these fools. Her mother was Tsahik, and she was meant to be the next one; it seems like her nature.
Tsireya, Lo'ak, Neteyam, and I sit beside the tent, waiting for the news when she finally wakes up. Lo'ak and Neteyam came over shortly after we got here.
Their faces are both discouraged.
"Our mother will do all she can do." Tsireya says, looking up to Lo'ak. She fills him with empathy from her voice and face.
"Norm and Max dont seem to know much." Lo'ak scoffs, staring at them having the conversation with Jake.
"They know the technical things, but Ronal can fix it." I say. My mother fixes everything.
"What do you think they will do about her? When she wakes up?" Neteyam asks, looking to all of us.
I dont have an answer. Kiri will probably be scared for her life.
Everyone around her will overprotect her.
Her life was on the line. Seeing her like that, and just waiting for her to wake up has seemed to be some of the longest hours of my life.
I cant imagine what Neytiri or Jake feel like. Or any of their kids.
Scenarios and perspectives of them have been running through my mind as I hold it together for them.
The entire time I just wanted to be there for them, and now the feeling is all coming back to me.
Tsireya shrugs, and looks to Lo'ak. He stands very close to her, both of them very comfortable with it.
I forgot the two of them had a thing. It doesnt bother me so much anymore.
"I know mom and dad will be watching her like crazy." Neteyam nods and looks down. I wish I could grab his hand right now. "They are going to ask us to watch her too."
