[Autophobia, the fear of being alone. Also the fear of oneself.]
[3rd PoV, narrator]

Dusty tosses the skeleton down the stairs, the impact finally turning it into dust. "Heh, looks like I'm the queen now." Dusty smirks as she picks up a small golden crown and places it on her head. Bites snarles at this, the skeleton, whose name was Sans, gave her a job. A reason to keep going, but now this human just plucked the last string.

The two flash monochrome colors, and the area around them seperate into a void-like plane of space. "Welcome to the battlestage. The place where war happens, but nobody notices." Dusty exclaims, a blue spear materializing in her hand. "Only one of us can leave here alive, because we both know the meaning of this world. ITS KILL...OR BE KILLED." Dusty tosses the spear, Bites rolls to the left, dodging it, but Dusty teleports to the spears location and re-directs it

Bites focuses her willpower to summon a knife, which she uses to deflect the spear into the ground. She slashes, red streaks appearing in the air around her. Bites points her knife at Dusty and the slashes all concentrate on her.
Dusty summons a blaster and disintigrates the first bunch, but gets side slammed by another grouping. She grunts as her HP depleates, but reacts in time to use bones to block another strike.
"Why are you so difficult!? Just lay down, and DIE!" Dusty revvs the chainsaw and teleports behind Bites, using the chainsaw to gouge into her back. Bites screams in pain, her eyes flickering to her normal red back to pitch black. She rotates her knife to stab backwards into Dustys torso, letting out a grunt of pain.
Dusty kicks Bites away, curb stomping her into the ground while bleeding heavily.

[Meanwhile, in the normal world]
[Y/n, 2nd PoV]

"Soo....what now?" You question, watching strands of green lines wrap around the limp body of Hunter. "Ah, nothing much. Just cleaning up." The bright figure next to you replies. The figure is humanoid, with transparent skin revealing the background behind them. The light emmiting from them comes from their eyes, with golden yellow hair flowing around with no sence of gravity. "Dont worry, once I put the core back to its normal position I'll be out of your metaphorical hair." The being spoke, its mouth never moving.
"Huh. And Chara?" "Just fine, I wouldn't let the focus of the story die that easily." "Story?" You cock your head in confusion, why'd they call it a story?

[Returning to Battle]
[Dusty 1st PoV]

Well fuck. This isn't going as easily as I thought. Another pointless strike gets dodged, I recoil and slash back only to hit air. Its getting very annoying at this point, and Im starting to get tired.

[3rd PoV, narrator]

Dusty goes in for a deadly blow to Bites head, but a crack slowly expands between them, releasing a bright red light. A human floats from the light, her form slowly glitching. "You, this isn't your timeline." She speaks, a strange static behind her words. "No! I came too far to be taken back to that hellhole of a world!" Dusty screams, but its already too late. A fracture appears below her and she falls into the depths of red light.
"I'm sorry, you can leave now." She says, and Bites gets the feeling of being spared.
The monochrome world fades, and both Charas returns to their respective worlds. When she plops back onto the cold stone of Hotlands Y/n looks up from a rock tower he created. "How...how is Core back?" Chara quesrions confusedly, and Y/n humms in a 'dunno' tone.
