Chapter 3 - Chondrias

I snapped out of it when Alex started walking up to Phil and whispered something to him. " That powerful kid...should we call a teacher?" Fai said, "Poor Phil" Anne said while watching them. Anne suddenly turns to me and says, " Y/n. Calm down please. We can't have you punching Alex again." I don't care if I get in trouble. I'm going to make them feel how they make Phil feel on a daily basis. " Well I can sure as hell try." I said as me and Susi start stomping towards them.

"NO BULLIES ALLOWED IN QUIANTO!" Susi yelled at them.

"Oh, look! A nosy quianto specimen!" A boy, who I've now dubbed as Pinky, said turning around.
"I bet her chondria is 'being annoying'. Alex laughed. "And they're with the chondria-less one, too!"
"Oh, Hi Alex! You remember me!" Anne happily waves.
" I'm not kidding you overinflated prick." Susi stomps over and gets in Alex's face with a fist that is completely encased in ice. I can see her ears turning red too. Wonder what that's about. That's probably her chondria.
"Woah, easy there!" Alex brings his hands up to defend himself, when his friend calls over to him.
"Yo, Alex let's just go." It's the one with pink hair and gray hat.
"Mind your own business, popsicle."
" hey let's loot the vending machines!" Another friend says.
"Yeah..." Alex seems kinda shaken and wary now which I guess was the intention? I mean I would prefer a physical fight but I won't scare off my roomies. Yet. But I think I'll get along with Susi pretty well.
They leave and Anne and Fai come to check on Susi because of her 'overheating' according to Fai.
"Susi! You're overheating!" Fai says
"I promise it's pure wrath not my chondria acting up." Her (Susi) face is positively flushed red at this point along with her ears.
I walk over to Phil with Fai. Nothing too bad happened between him and Alex, but I think we both just wanna make sure he's alright.
"Hey Phil." I ask.
"Hi, are you okay?" Phil waves at me and nods at Fai's question.
"If you want, you can join us on the tour! We're showing Anne and Y/N around the institute! It would be great if you could come with- -" Phil was gone before Fai could finish her words. Anne reassures her that Phil is just a little shy.
Once that was cleared up, we got some help in stopping Susi from overheating. Then we started the tour. Honestly, this place does seem pretty cool. The chemistry labs looked cool. I bet Phil would like that.
-Timeskip to the end of the tour-

"Okay and that finalizes the tour!" Fai smiled.
"Delightful!" Anne smiled so bright that there were practically sparkles coming off her.
"Yeah, thanks for the tour!" I said with a smile.
"This is our room." Susi placed her hand on a scanner and the door opened. Anne and I gasped. The room was much prettier that the rooms at Laire! Anne went around the room humming and I peeked around to all the corners.
"Im happy you're liking it!" Fai said.
"Yeah, glad it's not a disappointment compared to Laire." Susi commented.
"Nope! It's way better!" I said turning around.
"Hey about what that Alex kids said... your chondria..you have none?" Fai asked slowly. Susi said that she just remembered that as well. Anne interrupted her though.
"Are we allowed to keep plants?" She asked. I think this caught our new roommates off guard because it took them a second to restate the question and give a brief answer.
"Over there! The main route is closed right now but the Quianto kids said the labs are right down that staircase. Hurry up!" Alex's voice interrupted my thoughts and I walked over to where Susi and Fai were, over at the door.
"Speak of the devil. La última cocacola de desierto.*" Susi said, furrowing her eyebrows.
" Did they say 'Labs'?" Fai asked nervously.
"And that's Phil." Anne popped over out of nowhere scaring the mierda** out of me. "I smell trouble." Susi grumbled with her arms crossed.
"I thought that was disinfectant!" Anne said. I giggled at her response.
"Guys, I... [what is it Fai?-Susi] Maybe it's them in my vision." Fai sighed. What vision? What is she talking about?
"I can't just let bad things happen! Not again!" Fai takes off after where Phil and Alex were and the three of us chase after her. "Fai the sky can mean the kid' s scarf is blue."

Fai: "I also saw explosions."
Susi: "That could mean spicy food and you know it! Ay, Vale. Anyway we have to save the redhead from that bully!
We finally reached the door to the stairs at the end of the hall. Fai was first to reach it, so she opened the door and since I was the last to get there, I was the one to close it. I swear though, that as it shut (very loudly might it add), I felt as if someone or something was watching me. Like they were trying to drill imaginary holes into my back.

*This translation might not be the most accurate but I'm pretty sure it means 'The last coca-cola in the desert'?
