The cell was dark as it always was. There wasn't really much to do within its grasp annoyingly. The two figures remained within, Theodore and Adalheid just sitting around without anything to do. "If I hadn't come into this damned place none of us would be in this mess." Adalheid didn't even speak. He looks over towards the window with surprise before theodore looks over. "Sir we are here to get you out." Theodore recalled Tandy trying earlier. "Do you guys have the right tools?" They nod before taking out something to file away at the bars, "How long do you think this will take?" One of them looked down to Theodore, "As long as it will need to take, just be ready!" They continue to file away but by bit until one bar falls, then another, suddenly the opening is enough to squeeze through. "One at a time." A rope falls through and Theodore grabs it pulling himself out he looks back to an Adalheid staying put. "I'll be released soon enough. Leave me I'll act injured." Theodore exclaims, "Hell No kid! You are coming with us for your safety!" Adalheid shook his head, he opened his mouth to speak but what came was only a burst of gunfire from the interior... the yells of German as an audible thud came from within... Adalheid was there on the ground with a pool of blood. Theodore had no time to mourn as he reacted with his own orders, "Lets go! We need to move!!" They rush out to the sound of gunfire around them... each of them exchanged fire where they could, but the situation was quite tight for the Americans set between several German soldiers. Theodore took peeks taking firing each time he tried. "We're pinned! We won't make it through this!" And it couldn't be more true...

Within the ruins of the city section... just away from the Capitol building. Tandy was wandering with the two others he brought with him. Gerald finally spoke up, "Sir, I thought we were gonna take shelter..." Tandy looked around at the ruined buildings... skeletons of homes that once held families somewhat alike those back in America. He hadn't known what it had been like before they came through, but he tried to assume it was a dreadful place... "We are. Just trying to find the perfect spot..." Tandy looked back to Jimmy. He was looking around hugging his rifle close seemingly paying more attention to what was in the buildings than what they were before. Understandable as each distant explosion chipped away at their sanity. Tandy was suddenly pulled into cover, he was pulled in a daze has he pulled his weapon "Wha-" Gerald covered his mouth making a shushing motion... he acknowledged and looked around the corner. Distant rumbling grew closer as a tank column approached. It wasn't allied... a few Panzer tanks were spread within and one Heavy tank was strewn within. A single Tiger-1! All of the commanders were hanging outside of their hatches. He pulled himself back to cover and gulped he shuffled to the other side of the building where it met another intersection, both Gerald and Jimmy followed. He peeked out watching the column go by... a loud bang as he watches fire dance out of the tank in the front. The entire scene was a blur and a scare as both allied and enemy tanks engaged each other. He stayed in cover a few minutes until it went silent... he perked out again to see the Tiger turn to roll by the destroyed tank with a few others following behind. The rumbling faded... "All clear." He exclaim's to his men... he looks over to the building he is propped against. It came to him... "This would work."
Him and his men enter it for the night.

"Stay down!!" German gunfire whizzed by the American troops as they fought to survive. Theodore kept his head down urging his men to do the same, "We won't hold up! We should surrender" Theodore looks to the man who said that, "Surrender!? They are monsters! We can't surrender to them!!!" One of the men yelled back over the gunfire that aimed at them, "Then what do you want use to do!!!" He was suddenly corrected as the sounds of aircrafts sounded, B-17's flew high in the sky, yet a few aircrafts broke off that formation and lowered Their altitude. The AA guns I'm the city focused their fire on those targets. They suddenly disappeared behind the buildings. "Well that was for not-" suddenly an explosion as the tank in front of them burst into flames its turret launching high into the air. A sound on the back held radio of one of the men confirmed, "This is Samuel Matkins to jolly molly. Scored a kill on an enemy tank. What was that you said about my payload being useless?" Despite this they weren't out of it yet. Each of the men made a run for it one man was shot and killed while attempting to run, but the rest of them made it out. Now all they had to do was make it back to where the American frontline now was, and return this information to the Commander.
