The German attack was repelled... many men died. However it wasn't without significant losses on the German side. Erin called back the 1st infantry commander... in a temporary command zone while the command tent was set up once more, "So Erin... how exactly are we gonna continue this plan? We don't exactly have the manpower be doing it right now we have lost 25,000 good men and all to these krauts, and their daring attacks." Erin took to thought, it could be possible... however it would be quite the stretch to attempt this, however if they were careful it can be done. "Well it could be possible my friend... but we must have a fool proof plan, if we attack from one position they'll bulk forces, and then we flank around, and encircle them." Somebody walked in... the Technical Sergeant who was assisting Theodore. "Sir, our filed plans are missing from that bunker. We had a POW too, but his body was never found either. It's likely he escaped with them." The commander looked to Erin, "Well that complicates things... doesn't it?" However Erin's thoughts were entirely different, he knew this meant they would bulk their original plan... they can improvise. "Actually, now my idea is possible... we now know that our enemies are gonna gather in that spot, if we send a distraction force in it will make them think we are just pushing through, otherwise we can encircle their main force, and force a surrender." That other commander stated at him... "You are correct I'll give you that... but how many losses do you think we'll take?" However what would be clear is that they would take losses constantly, it was bound to happen... "Don't worry, we can reduce losses if we are careful, we'll have to keep our seventy six millimeter tanks in the back, and on our sides, if we want any tanks to surrender then we'll need them." The 1st commander nodded, he knew very well of this plan, "Should we need it we can bring in air support, I've got friends I can call from the airfields in the back, however they can't veer too far in the city or they'll risk heavy losses." That was all that needed to be said. They would prepare, as tomorrow it would begin.

Theodore and his squad moved through the city, it proved to be quite difficult as they needed to move through alleyways, and around many defensive positions to avoid being spotted, the area around was wrecked, sometimes there were debris from the bombings... especially one street... fresh bodies of resistance, and German forces... bloodied with brains sticking out of some... limbs were missing on some, a few limbs could be found laying around off their sockets... bones sticking out. Theodore thought of the task at hand should they get this right they'll be near that capitol building, and they should be able to sabotage German plans... now if only they could get in. They were only 2 miles, and everything began to shake... they dove down into an old shop, Tandy peeked out to brief on what was happening... a convoy of German tanks were rolling down the street, he looked up to the buildings... his eyes widened as he spotted several civilians with guns, and explosives. Suddenly one of the tanks in the front blows up, and the yelling of German began... Theodore made a difficult choice, "Grab your weapons, fire at the enemies! Help these resistance forces!!" Each soldier raced to their gun, the Tank Commander who joined them took the first shots quickly taking his M1911 out of his holster. One of the tanks, a Tiger 2, began to roll its cannon over towards the small shop, each soldier had their weapons and began to fire furiously, one of them realized the danger, "Shit!!! Watch that tank!!!" Theodore knowing if they didn't move it would be over made a last minute decision, "Get into the next room!!" Each soldier promptly reacted, Bill made his way to the door, and helped every soldier try to get through, by the time he started to run through the sight of him getting blown up came into view, his skin on his back peeled off, and burned... his right leg wasn't blown off yet it would be easy to say he couldn't walk... Tye screams as he hit the ground tore through the now ambient explosions and gunshots, "God damn it!!! AGHH!! HELP ME!!" Tandy ran to his side, "Stay with us!! Come on!!" He began to drag him deeper into the building. The Tank Commander output his mind, "Sir we can't stay here!! That tank'll ruin us!!" Theodore sighed... "Pull back everyone! Tandy take Bill, we have to move!" Tandy took Bill up on his back, and each of the now 8 capable soldiers ran out through the destroyed wall into the street away from the battle, through the building opposite of that shop... which was a cafe. When they eventually found a safe spot, Tandy set Bill down, they were about a mile from the capitol building... Theodore spoke, "Come on Tandy... we are almost there!m. I'm gonna need you..." Tandy stood up... he was not happy however, "No sir! I'm staying with Bill! We can't leave him here!" Theodore facepalmed and thought... "Alright... Gerald... you are the medic. Stay with them... the rest of us will head in..." and so out that squad went... missing 3 men... with Tandy no longer in the plan how could Theodore get in German high command? It's not like he could learn German in three seconds... it was time to improvise...
