It's been about half a day since Kazuki and Jimmy ran off. We haven't been able to even get their trackers connected, so we have no idea where they went. Everyone's just trying to get things back in order. The kitchen's been completely destroyed, and it took half an hour to clear the rubble off the stairs. Until they get back, Sage and Scarlett have assumed leadership positions, given that this is their base.

First order of business was to get the "medbay" back into working order. Their medbay is considerably nicer than ours, as expected, but was lacking in some necessary equipment. We made do with the first aid kits, but we're gonna have to get some more supplies soon.

Ethan was the one who got everything together, being the only one who really didn't get too injured, as a result of being at the back of the group and throwing vials the whole time. I am, of course, the only one who can't do anything. Ethan says it'll be a month before my leg fully heals, especially if we don't get any better medical supplies. We made a makeshift crutch so I can be mobile, but I can't help to clean up or get things together. "Don't worry about it. Just get some rest." Ethan says. I do try to get some sleep, but it's eerily quiet without Kazuki. He's always training in the middle of the night. It was quite annoying, actually.

Ethan wakes me up in the morning.

"Wuzzapnin?" I mutter sleepily.

"Jimmy's back!" Ethan says with a grin. "He's pretty winded, but there's not a scratch on him!" I yawn and sit up.

"Is Kazuki with him?"

"No, but we're 80% sure he isn't dead" I give him a skeptical look. "Okay, 70%. 60%. The point is, Jimmy's back and we should ask him where Kazuki is!" I get up and look at the clock.

"Ethan, it's six in the morning!"

"I DON'T CARE JUSt COME ON!!!" Ethan pulls me out of bed, pauses, hands me my crutch and pushes me out the door. Jimmy's in the living room, looking haggard. He has dirt all over him, and, as usual, I was the last one told about his return. Jimmy is trying to withstand the barrage of questions being thrown at him. "Is Kazuki alive?" Wesley asks.

"Last I saw." Jimmy replies.

"What made you turn back?" Scarlett asks.

"Well, Kazuki got a little annoyed that I kept following him, so he.. Forcefully asked me to head back." Sage rolls her eyes.

"Let me guess, a few throwing stars involved? Maybe a bit of swordplay?"

"You could say that."

"Hey, welcome back." I say, sitting down next to Scarlett. "How's it been?"

"Oh, it's been great! Just like 10 minutes ago, I narrowly avoided getting stabbed by Kazuki."

"Congratulations."

Jimmy does look rather proud of himself.

"Uh, do we have any food?" He says. Sage sighs and walks over to the kitchen.

"Well, thanks to you idiots being in our base, where we only planned to have two people in, we've run out of provisions. Except," She pulls out a box of Goldfish. "For this box of Goldfish that expired a month ago."

Wesley snatches it out of her hand. "Correction, we have nothing."

"Oh, well I know where a store is." I say. "Back in the city. I used to.. Borrow food when I needed it."

"Oh so you're a zombie and a thief huh?" Sage says.

"You would have done it too. Bet that's how we're gonna get food now anyways." Sage sighs.

"Let's just go. Lead the way, I guess."
