You had met up with Puss, Kitty and Perrito like you all agreed. You all went to the shop to get some fruits for breakfast. "So, senorita (Y/N)! What are your plans after this? Stay in town or travel with us?" Puss asked you, a smile across his face. "We'd be more than happy to have you as part of-" "Team Friendship!" Perrito interrupted. You looked at Perrito and giggled, petting his head. "I would love to, amigo. But I have to go in the opposite direction of you guys." His smile falters slightly but then comes back just as bright as before. "Well, then it will just be super amazing to see you again some time!" He happily jumped around as he said this. "Don't mind me asking, but why do you have to go? WHy can't you stay or come with us?" Kitty asks you. You thought about if you should tell them. But you trusted them. You really did, so you figured, why not? "Well, in all honesty, I'm a healer. I know some forbidden healing and also elemental magic. I also possess what they call 'old or lost knowledge'. I also used to be a.. um.. A bounty hunter. So there's vengeful family members, other bounty hunters, magic collectors, the list goes on." They all looked at you with wide eyes and dropped jaws. You blushed, embarrassed and scared that they were now going to avoid you. "YOU are the wandering healer?!" Shouted Perrito. "Shh shh Perrito!" KItty and Puss cover his muzzle. You nod. "Wait, how did you know who she is, but you didn't know the Legend of Puss in Boots?!" Puss berated Perrito. You and Kitty started to laugh at their bickering. "well, mi amigos, I think I must be going now. I have a long way to go before the next town. And a lot of places have been thriving lately. I've found nobody who even needs a doctor!" You exclaimed, still shocked with how things have been lately. It gives you anxiety about something big possibly coming. "Well, it's been an absolute pleasure to spend time with you, peso ligero." Kitty winked at you as she smiled. You rolled your eyes, returning the smile. "Thank you guys for the good time. I needed it. I hope to see you all again soon." You hugged the three of them in a little group hug. "Be safe out there, (Y/N)." Kitty said to you as you all let go. Your heart melted a bit knowing she cared. "You as well, Gatos. And Perrito. Adios!" With that, you all bid farewell as you made your way out of town in one direction, them the opposite.

After traveling for hours, you had stopped to eat and purify some water. You came across a little stream with a few trees close by. You dug out a little hole to have a fire in. After starting your fire, you used your elemental magic to instantly purify the water you had just put in your canteen. You took a few spices and vegetables out of your travel bag to make a vegetarian soup. You preferred not to kill animals unless a million percent necessary to you, which was almost never due to your plant magic. You set down your pot on the small fire and filled it with clean water. You used more of the water to clean your vegetables before cutting them with your knife directly into the pot. You added some carrots, potatoes, some tyme, a bit of turmeric, some salt and pepper and a few pieces of apple because you were weird like that. You finished off the rest of the apple as you waited for the stew to cook. You put more water in your canteen and purify that as well. You sat and drank some water while waiting. After a few minutes, you almost couldn't handle the smell of the soup anymore and grabbed a cloth to get the pot off the fire so it may be cool for a few moments before you ate. You go into your bag to find your wooden spoon and see that it is no longer in your bag. You sigh, stand up and walk a few feet away to see if there is a good stick anywhere for you to carve. You eventually do find one and go back to your spot and start carving. While making your new utensil, you start to hum. Eventually your humming becomes a whistle. You whistled a lullaby your mother used to sing to you before she died. You smiled though it pained you to remember it. You still cherished those memories of her singing it, so thankful you were even capable of remembering her at all. She once promised you to teach you how to play the song on all the instruments she could, and ones she couldn't play the two of you would learn together. Of course those days never happened, but you hoped to someday have the peace and time to do those things and make her proud. Soon, your spoon was done and as smooth as you could get it with just your blade. A few splinters are good for you, right? You picked up your pot with the cloth and began to eat your soup. It was a bit bland, but it was food and you were thankful nonetheless. You sat there enjoying your food, as well as the sounds of nature around you. Times like this made you happy, but also deeply lonely. You longed for a friend to be by your side, but almost everyone has turned against you or gets hurt eventually. You wished you had somebody to talk to, just to pass some of the seemingly never ending time in the days you walked from town to town. After finishing your meal, you took your pot and spoon to the stream and rinsed them both off. Drying them before packing back up, you decide that you wanted to stay for just a few more minutes. Something almost screamed at you not to leave, so you sat back down against a rock and thought for a minute. Suddenly, the dream from before flashed across your brain, making you blush and cover your face. "Ugh, why did that happen?! Why would I dream that?!" You yell at yourself, wishing you understood the way your brain functioned. But it felt so real. You remembered getting back to your room. You remember taking off your cloak, locking the door. But you also remember the feeling of his teeth against your throat and his fingers touching your stomach. It truly did feel so real. You were brought back to reality by the sound of snapping twigs. You looked up, scanning your surroundings. "Is somebody there?!" You called out. Silence, then a small child stumbles out of the bushes. "C-can you help me please, miss?" The little girl had blonde hair that was dirty and knotted, full of sticks and god knows what else. She wore a little tattered blue dress and no shoes, covered in bumps and bruises as well as a gash on her cheek. Your heart instantly softened and you got down on your knee. She looked very scared but also hopeful. "Yes, yes what can I do to help?" You held out your hand to her, gesturing her to come closer. She instantly went to you and grabbed your hand. "I-I was out walking with mama when I walked away from her and I couldn't find home! I don't know where I am or which way home is!" She began to sob. You pulled her into a hug and held her. "Shh it's okay. I will help you find your home, okay?" You looked into her eyes, wiping her tears away. You held your hand over her cheek and healed her cut. "My name is (Y/N), what is yours?" You asked her in an attempt to take her mind off of freaking out. "Julie." She sniffles, wiping more tears away. "Okay, Julie. I'm going to help you. Stay right here and stand very still." You placed both of your hands on the ground beneath your feet. You focus all of your magic onto feeling vibrations in the earth, hoping to locate a house or town nearby. When that didn't work you tried another technique. You slammed both palms down into the ground, causing the ground to shake a bit beneath the two of you, but this sent vibrations far enough that you were able to locate a house just a days journey away. You sighed in relief, before turning back to Julie.  "That was amazing!" She screams, a huge grin spreading across her face. You smiled back at her. "Thank you. Now come, dear. Let's get you home." You take her by her little hand and start walking with her in the direction of the house.
