You had traveled with Julie for only a few hours before she had gotten tired and hungry. You saw the sun started to set and decided it would be best to stop until tomorrow morning. You found a perfect little tree where the trunk was open like a little room where you two could sleep and stay warm for the night. You asked Julie to dig out a little hold for the fire so she felt helpful. She happily dug out a small hole with her little hands, looking at you proudly when she was done. You smiled and walked with her to the stream that seemed to flow through the entire forest. You help her clean her hands and take your canteen out of your travel bag. You fill it with water and purify it before handing it to Julie. She drank most of the water down before she handed it to you. You laughed feeling how light it now was and put more water in, purifying that too. You walk back to the tree with her and make a small fire in the little whole Julie had dug. You handed her an apple to eat while you made some warm food. You grab your metal pot out of your bag and use your elemental magic to shape it into a flat baking sheet. You set it over the fire and then reach into your bag, pulling out a bag of bread dough you had been letting rise for a few hours. You pull off a small piece and stretch it out, laying it over the baking sheet. "Where did you learn to do that?" Julie looks up at you from her apple. You smile at her and scoot a bit closer to her. "I taught myself magic. I did it to help people, like you." You boop her on the nose with your index finger, making her giggle and scrunch up her face.

The two of you sat around your little fire, eating bread and telling each other stories. She told you about her two moms, her pet pig, her favorite color, anything her little heart wanted to say. You listened, enjoying her company as she was a very kind and well mannered young lady. The sun had fallen below the horizon, darkness creeping across the sky. You put out the fire and the two of you head into the trunk of the tree. Julie shivered, asking you for a blanket or something. You reach into your bag and grab something that makes you cringe every time you touch it. You pull out the little torn piece of purple fabric, making a face of disgust at it. The person who left the scar upon your eye wore the rest of the fabric on her shoulders. You had torn a piece of the sorceress cloak when she attacked after you tried to rob her. You learned that this little piece still had a lot of magic in it. You focused on it and the little scrap turned into a beautiful velvet blanket, big enough for the both of you. "Wow! That was so cool!!" Julie squealed, her eyes glimmering in awe. You laugh, loving her energy. She cuddles into you, sighing contently. "Tia, will you tell me a story?" You felt your heart throb from how lovely she was, trying not to cry. "Of course, my dear. Hmm, let's see.." You thought for a moment, waiting for a story to come to your mind. "Oh! This is one my mama used to tell me." She smiles up at you, excited. "A little girl was born with an extra eye on her forehead, meaning she had 3. She also had the ability to see the future. She looked different you see, it made people afraid of her as they didn't understand her. Her own familia feared her as she looked so different from them. She left one day when she was still very young. She wandered, looking for somebody or anybody who wouldn't turn her away. She started to wear a wrap around her forehead to cover her third eye, you see? Well, She came across a town where she stayed and became the town's doctor as she knew what would happen. One day, a boy similar in age to her comes into the town, a wrap around his eyes, needing help." You look down and see that Julie was now snoring away, sleeping peacefully. You smile, kiss the top of her head and go to sleep.

You wake up in the middle of the night to Julie shaking you. "(Y/N), wake up!" She whisper yells at you. You open your eyes, startled. "There's somebody out there!" She whispers. You hear a twig snap, grab her and hold her close. You gently pat your hand on the ground, just to get vibrations of where something may be. You are able to locate a group of people just a few yards away. You reach into your bag and grab your spell book. You try to use the invisibility spell, but you make your hand disappear instead. You start to panic and reach into your bag, grabbing the bottle that you got with your map. Not knowing what else to do, you drink it. Your eyes flash purple before you repeat the spell causing you and Julie, as well as your blanket, to go invisible. Just as you did, a group of men walk right in front of your tree. You both held your breath. After a few seconds, the men, saying something you couldn't understand, take off into the woods. You change the blanket back into a scrap and throw it in your bag. You scoop up Julie and start running in the direction of the house.

You don't know how, but you ran for the next half hour, trying desperately to get this little girl somewhere safe. You use your plant magic to make a tree grow beneath your feet. You looked from the top, holding Julie and scanning for the house. "Look!" Julie cried out and pointed. Even in the middle of the night, the smoke coming out of a chimney was clear to you. You took a deep breath, let it out, then you jumped out of the tree. Julie screamed and buried her face into your chest. It was like everything went in slow motion for you. Your feet sank into the ground, a missive crater forming around you. The earth was almost as if jumping on a trampoline as you shot back into the air, the crater disappearing when your feet left the ground. The two of you were now way up in the air. You used magic again to manifest a solid cloud for you guys to stand on. Testing to see if your spell had worked, you sighed in relief feeling the solid surface. You looked down at the shaking child who hadn't pulled her head up. "Julie, it's okay. Look." She hesitantly looks up and sees that you're really high up. You set her down and she clung to your leg, terrified. "Look, is that your house?" She hesitantly peeked over the cloud edge and saw the house too. Her eyes instantly lit up. "My home!" She shrieked. You smiled. "Well, let's go then." You start manipulating the air around you, the cloud hovering down. The night sky around you looked beautiful, you felt as if you could reach out and grab one of the stars. When the two of you were close enough to the ground, you scoped Julie up and jumped. She screamed in joy this time, throwing her hands up in the air. And just like before, the Earth caught you as if made of pillows. You set her down and she runs to the door of the house. She starts banging on it as you walk behind her. A tall ginger woman then opens the door, looks down and sees Julie, then picks her up in a tight hug and spins her. "Oh thank heavens! Our sweet Julie!" Her voice booms with happiness as she holds her. Another woman with blonde hair like Julie comes to the doorway, already crying. She too screams and hugs the little girl.  You smile seeing the family together and are happy. You then decide to use your spell again, turn invisible, and continue on your journey.
