That morning I laid in bed looking at the wall. Kirishima was cuddled up to my back his wing over me and hanging off the bed onto the floor.
I had woken up to the sound of shuffling and I watched the blonde leave. I just sighed and the dragon snuggled into my back and purred. I was a little confused i didn't think they could do that.
I looked at the wall and thought about my home. I wondered if my family even noticed I was gone or even how long it's been.
I wonder if my family even misses me.
I was sad but the man's warmth around me help me feel a little better. But just a little bit.
I didn't notice the tears running down my cheeks. I was in my own head until Kirishima spoke.
"Hm? Oh hey don't cry." He said leaning over me.
"Sorry." I whispered and he made me lay on my back.
"I didn't offend you or anything did I?" He asked and I shook my head no.
"No it's not you." I cried and he smiled sadly at me.
"Oh.... I know this all must be scary for you but we'll get you home don't worry." He said and i smiled up at him. I rolled over facing him. I hugged him and snuggled into his bear chest.
"Thank you." I cried and he hugged me back.
"No need to thank me. Try and sleep some more maybe it'll help." He whispered and hugged me. He put a wing over my head blocking out the sun light so I could go back to sleep.
A while later
Kirishima woke up all excited. I rubbed my eyes as he basically vibrated with excitement.
"Oh come on wake up. I wanna show you the town." He said and I sat up tiredly looking at him. He smiled at me as he held my cape.
"Ok ok." I said and slowly got out of bed. Right when my boots hit the floor he grabbed my hand and dragged me out the room.
He dragged me down the hall and the stairs and out the doors. He stopped and turned around to me and put the cape around my shoulders.
"Sorry I tend to get overly excited sometimes." He said and grabbed my hand again.
"I just really want to show you around. You're not from here so it's exciting." He said and I nodded still a little half asleep.
"Yeah I bet it is exciting. I might need something to wake me up first tho." I said rubbing my eye. He smiled at me.
"Of course let's go." He said and dragged me along not as hard as before.
We walked through the snow as the town was now filled with people. I held his warm hand tightly not to lose him in the crowds.
We walked through a door and it was a small diner. We walked to a booth and sat down.
"We'll wait here for Bakugo and then we can explore." He said and I hummed.
"Where is he?" I asked him and he thought.
"Im hoping he went to get the one person that can read that spell in your locket. Well the one other person besides his mother." He said and i perked up.
"His mother? Is she the lady in the painting?" I asked and he sighed.
"I shouldn't be telling you but yes it is his mother and father actually." He said as he waved someone over.
"That's why he looked so familiar." I whispered to myself as a waitress came over.
I was in my own head when Kirishima ordered. The waitress looked at me and I shook my head.
"Oh um whatever he got." I said and she walked away.
"So tell me about your world." He said looking at me with curious eyes. I giggled knowing that's probably how I looked at him yesterday.
I explained how everything worked back home. He surprisingly didn't like anything about it. By the time I was done we got our food.
"You're world sounds boring and dull. Also sounds like you killed your gods and ruined that land they gave you. I wouldn't want to go back if I lived there no offense." He said and I nodded.
"Yeah I guess it is. Maybe I'll change my mind." I said and he looked at me.
"No I didn't mean it like that. I know you're probably home sick." He said and I shrugged.
"It's fine. I mean you're right it is dull." I said and it was quiet as we ate.
Soon tho Bakugo found us.
"There you are. I found someone that can help." He growled as he sat down. A girl came up to the table. She had short brown hair and a pink cape on. She smiled at me.
"Hello um I'm Ochaco. Bakugo said you had a spell that needed reading or something like that." She said sweetly and I moved over and patted the spot next to me. She sat down and I handed her the locket.
She read it as Bakugo ordered something. She sighed and shook her head.
"I only know a few words but it sounds like this is a one time use." She said and I looked at her.
"What you mean one time use?" I asked scared.
"I mean one use per person and um........" She said and looked at it closely.
"And every other generation. So you can use it to go home but you can never come back." She said and I sighed. She closed it and handed it back to me.
"So I guess you have a choice to make." She said and I looked at her confused.
"A choice?" I asked looking at her. She giggled.
"Yes my lady. I know you are probably from a different world and I don't know anything about it but our world is beautiful and magical and filled with adventure." She said and I looked at my plate of food.
"All I'm asking is on your travels take time and really admire our world." She said and I sighed remembering how much my grandmother regretted leaving.
