I ran up to Mina excitedly. She was waiting in the courtyard as a dragon. I turned around and hopped in my spot as Kiri walked over.
"Someone's excited to go home." Kiri said as he put bags on Mina. I giggled happily watching him.
"Oh course i am. I can wait to sleep in our bed again." I said and he smiled putting a arm around my shoulders. I happily hugged him tightly.
"I love dragon stone. I feel more welcome there then this place." I said as I hugged him tightly. He hugged back and my eyes caught Bakugo walking out with the king and queen.
"I'm glad you love our home Y/n." Kiri said as he leaned down kissing my head. I smiled to myself he was so loving and it always made me happy.
Bakugo nodded along as he ended the conversation with them. He walked over to us as we both smiled at him. He sighed and and put his hands in his pockets.
"Well luckily for us the whole incident got us more allies." Bakugo mumbled as he looked around. He then rubbed the back of his neck looking rather stressed.
Kirishima rubbed my shoulder before he turned away and climbed up on Mina. I stepped forward to Bakugo. I reached a hand out towards his.
"You alright?" I asked him as he grabbed my hand.
"Yeah I'm fine let's go home." He said but his face said otherwise. I only followed not wanting to upset him.
We spent all morning riding on Mina. When we got home I was so excited I ran through the doors. Mitsuki was sitting on the throne looking at something. She looked up and smiled widely.
"Oh my goodness you guys are back." She said getting up.
"Yes we just got back and I can't tell you how happy I am." I said as I walked up to her. She grabbed my hand gently.
"Good because I have something to show you." She said before quickly leading me away.
She held my hand tightly as she dragged me through the halls. I was getting a little nervous because Bakugo didn't know were I was and Mitsuki seemed extremely serious.
We walked into a room and I coughed at the amount of dust in the air. I looked around and it was a big bedroom. I looked at her a little confused.
"These is were your grandmother stayed at her time here." She said as she gestured to the room. It was a red and cold themed room. The walls had beautiful paintings on the walls of battles she has been in.
Mitsuki grabbed my hand and led me to the suit of armor that was set up in the room. When we got close you could see scratches and dents in the metal.
"I'm sure it'll fit you if we try. So for this war you'll have something to protect yourself." She said and it hit me as I traced over a scratch.
I'd be fighting along with them.
I spent the rest of the day with Mitsuki until dinner. She went to dinner and I didn't. To be honest she was scaring me. Talking about how I be fighting along side them and I needed to get my stuff in order of something happened to me.
I have been going through all of this thinking I was immortal just for her to tell me that demons can kill witches that are "immortal" easily. The fact scarred me and I had little combat experience.
I skipped dinner and went to our room. I walked in and sighed deeply. I ran my hands down my face before walking over to the dresser. I got changed into something more comfortable and walked out on the balcony. I leaned on the rail and looked at the town below. I herd the door open and I looked over my shoulder seeing Kirishima.
"I knew you would be here." He said as he walked over.
"Dinner over already?" I asked as his arms wrapped around my waist.
"No. Katsuki asked were you had been and now currently is in a screaming match with his mother." He said a little concern in his voice. I hummed looking over my shoulder.
"Isn't that normal for them?" I asked as my head rested on his shoulder.
"Not these time." He said squeezing my waist tightly. I looked over at the side of his face.
"What makes this time so different?" I asked and he sighed deeply.
"They are fighting about you. Katsuki doesn't want you anywhere near the war. He wants you safe here but his mother thinks you should be out there." He explained and my hands laid on his and intertwined our fingers together.
"I don't want to be apart of it Kirishima. I have no experience with any of this." I said as tears came to my eyes. I turned around in his arms and snuggled into his chest as I hugged him.
"I already died once I don't want to do it again." I cried and he set his chin on my head hugging me tightly. He then wrapped his wings around me.
"We won't let anything happen to you." He whispered before we heard heavy footsteps walk over. We both looked up and Bakugo had came in. He looked to be extremely angry.
"That's for sure. So when we go to fine the idiot King and Queen you'll be here helping my mother." Bakugo said as he walked up to us.
"You came to a agreement with Mitsuki?" Kirishima asked as he still held me not letting go anytime soon.
"Yes. You'll still be involved but you and the stone will be safely guarded here." Bakugo explained as he leaned in the railing.
"I'll be safe here right?" I asked reaching a hand out touching his arm.
"Yes as long as there's no spy in our midst. I would feel a lot better if one of us stayed with you but i don't think that's a option." Bakugo said as he looked out at the town below.
"I can put Mina on 24 hour guard so at least someone we trust is with her at all times." Kirishima suggested and Bakugo ran a hand down his face.
"That's going to have to do."
