I stood there nervously. Bakugo patted my shoulder as he laughed.
"Come on it won't be that bad." Bakugo said as he put a bag on Kirishima's back. Kirishima had turned into a dragon and I was scared to fly. Kirishima looked at me and sniffed me making me giggle. He opened his mouth and licked my face and hair.
"Come on let's go." Bakugo said grabbing my hand. He dragged me over to Kirishima's shoulder and held my hips.
"Ready? 3.....2.....1." He said and he picked me up and sit me on his shoulder. I grabbed Kirishima's shoulder gently and pulled myself up the best I could. I crawled up to the base of Kirishima's neck and sat down. Bakugo climbed up and sat behind me.
"Now don't get to scared and hold onto him the best you can. If you fall we'll catch you." Bakugo said and I nodded doing what he said. He held my waist and Kirishima started moving.
I gasped and closed my eyes as we flew off the ground and into the air. Bakugo laughed behind me as he pulled me closer to him. He sighed in my ear as he held me close.
"Come now. You'll never know what you're grandmother was talking about if you keep your eyes closed." He whispered and he was right. I held his hand that was on my waist as I slowly opened my eyes. I gasped and leaned more into him.
We moved through clouds. I looked over the side of him and looked down at the trees below. I smiled and laughed with excitement. I leaned back against Bakugo's chest.
"This is amazing." I said as I watched the clouds pass by.
"Do you think your grandmother was crazy now?" He whispered in my ear and I shook my head.
"No she wasn't crazy. She was right." I said and looked at him. His bright red eyes looked into mine and I blushed looking away.
"I still make you nervous." He whispered in my ear and i smiled.
"Maybe just a little." I whispered and he chuckled.
"Good." He growled in my ear.
It was quiet as we flew over the Dark Forest. I was enjoying the view as Bakugo braided my hair.
"Once we get down there you need to stay next to us at all times." Bakugo said and I nodded understanding completely.
I noticed that Kiri was circling a spot of the forest as we got lower.
We landed and the forest was unnaturally quiet and dark. We landed and Bakugo got off first. I handed him his bag and he put it on the ground and held his hands out for me. I hesitated but slid down Kirishima and Bakugo caught me. He put me on his shoulder as Kirishima turned back.
"As strong as ever my Prince." Kirishima said quietly.
"She's not that heavy." Bakugo responded as he set me down.
"Now we have about what? Three days of travel in here?" He asked Kirishima.
"Yes two if we keep moving now and don't stop." Kirishima said.
"Alright." Bakugo said and I gasp as he ripped the bottom of my dress.
"Uh hey." I growled and he scoffed.
"I bought it so relax." He said and i huffed upset about the dress.
"You need to be able to run more then you need to look pretty." He said walking past me.
"Come on i'd like to get out of here as soon as possible." He said and we followed him.
I sighed as the sun went down. Kirishima grabbed my hand and hushed me. We hid in a bush as Bakugo went to look for something.
"It's dangerous at night so from hear on out be quiet." He whispered to me and I nodded. Bakugo came back with a torch in hand. He nodded and we got up following him.
It was so dark all I could see was the fire and whatever the fire lit up. Suddenly Bakugo froze and so did we. There was a sound behind me and I slowly turned around.
I was met with bright red snake like eyes. I squeezed Kirishima's hand. It hissed in my face it's tongue touching my face.
"Don't move." Kirishima whispered. I held my breath as the giant snake approached and looked at me. It hissed and opened its mouth. I heard Kirishima growling at it behind me. Bakugo grabbed me and pulled me away from them.
Kirishima changed and attacked the giant snake and Bakugo picked me up over his shoulder and ran.
"Wait Kirishima." I said and bakugo shook his head.
"He'll be fine. Not the first time he fought against a serpent." He said as he ran as quietly as he could.
We both froze when we heard a sound that broke both our hearts. A screech that echoed through the woods. It sounded just like Kirishima. I gasped and wiggled out of Bakugo's arms.
He dropped me and yelled my name as I ran. My eyes adjusted to the darkness and when I got to Kirishima what I saw made my heart drop.
The snake was wrapped around him tightly and biting down on his throat. He roared setting the forest on fire.
"Hey!" I yelled and the snake let go of his throat and looked at me. I gripped my sword and ran towards it. I ran up Kirishima's body and up the snake. I jumped with my sword behind my head. I yelled as I swung my sword down and somehow cut half of its head off.
It screeched and let Kirishima go as it's started to fling around. I tried to hold on the best I could but it slammed me into the ground hard and I was knocked out.
Bakugo POV
I ran after her in the dark. I ran up on them and by the time I got there Kirishima had turned back and he was hyperventilating on the ground and that stupid girl was smashed into the ground.
