DAMSEL AND DRAGON
The novelty of a gullible damsel
is a petty prize or a pretty ransom—
bewitching illusion; brain, not an option.Innocence is never the gift you can keep—
castles stifle you from the sunrise you seek,
assassins provide lessons after you weep.At the end of the day, who tried to listen?
If they love you after the battle, hold them—
sneaky reptiles deserve woe before mayhem.Your name receive titles if you try to learn
and begin doing things they can only yearn—
forget your kindness, they remember the burn.
