It's finally 24 December 2020.
It's time for Go Eun to go to Ilsan, her parents' house, for three days. Min Ho had begged, bribed, flirted, seduced and threatened her, but he still had to be a grown man and let her spend Christmas with her family.
His mood was so gloomy that she couldn't help but laugh at him.
"We had to be apart when you were filming Pachinko in Busan," she reminded.
"It's different. I was working. But now I'm on holiday, and I can't be with you."
They both knew he's just being clingy and unreasonable. Before he was with her, he prioritized to be with his parents and noona on Christmas. It's just family time. It made sense to spend time with family. But now that they were together, he felt stingy with their time together. He didn't even want to share her with her own family.
"Sometimes you can be like a 5 year old boy. So childish and clingy. But I can't without Oppa," she exclaimed, giggling and kissing his cheek, as he continued to drive to Ilsan.
When he arrived at her father's driveway, he held her tight.
"Aigoo, I'm losing you......"
She slapped his arm, "Yah, stop being silly!" she scolded. But after two seconds, she giggled again.
He entered the house and parked his car, before they stepped into the front door together. He carried a big suitcase consisting of all her Christmas presents for her family.
They were first greeted by Ire and Roi.
"Gomooooo!" they both exclaimed.
"Wait, wait, Gomo and Samcheon must wash our hands first. I don't want you two to get sick, ok?"
In the kitchen, they met her mother, who was still busy preparing lunch.
"Annyeong, Ommoni," Min Ho greeted warmly.
Go Eun reminded him once more to wash his hands first, before hugging her mom.
"You're getting prettier than the last time I saw you," he said sweetly. Her mom touched her own cheek and laughed happily, "You really know what to say to a woman, Min Ho-ssi. Of course you're staying for lunch?"
"But......Oppa's mom cooks at home too, right? I thought you're having lunch there?"
"Ommoni, look, she's already kicking me out," Min Ho said, making a sad face.
"She's just concerned about your family, even if you don't," Kim In Ki added, appearing from the garden's direction.
"Hello, Abeoji. Wow, you're getting more handsome! You're going to steal all my jobs!"
