"If you could travel anywhere with me, where would you go?" she asked.
"Aren't we travelling now?"
They were driving in his car, en route to Ilsan, where her parents lived.
"I don't mean driving around, I mean travelling abroad."
"Oh. Hm........definitely Spain. I love that country. I want to show you all my favorite places there. Madrid, Barcelona, Alhambra...... The food, the football match...... I want to relive everything with you."
She's smiling before he's done speaking.
"I've been to Europe, but I've never been to Spain."
"Then you should go. With me. What about you? Where would you take me?"
"My heart?" she tried.
He guffawed behind the steering wheels.
"Yah....... Where did you learn to be this cheesy?"
"Learnt from the master."
"Jinja? Who's that?"
"Just someone really tall" she replied, before giggling at her own answer. "Ok. The real answer is Paris. That's cliche, I know, but I've really wanted to go to Paris with a lover. Be all romantic at a romantic city."
"Ah. Paris. I miss Paris as well. But...... You know what I'm gonna say next, right?"
"................how cheesy is it going to be?"
He began singing, "Anywhere with you feels like Paris in the rain......"
Go Eun laughed. "Omo.........."
"Anywhere, Babe........ It's like Paris in the rain......."
"Sillyehamnida, fan service ingayo? (Excuse me, is this a fanservice?)"
"Of course. For the number one Minoz."
"Manhi gamsahamnida" Go Eun bowed.
After another peal of laughter, they drove in comfortable silence.
"Are you really going to tell your Appa?"
She nodded.
"It's time that he knows."
