My hands are cold as ice while sitting in the same table with them. They are talking casually as if I couldn't hear it.

I really want to enjoy the delicious food but the occasional look that Julian or should I say Julianne is giving me makes me uncomfortable.

Sitting in front of her makes me understand why I mistook her for a man. She's a perfect combination of Mav's angelic face and Mira's fierce and feisty look. She got a short wolf cut hair and her body does not have that extravagant curves yet it isn't big like a man. If a human can be unisex, then she'll probably be one. Plus the fact that she has the strongest sex appeal for me.

I stared blankly at the food while I listen to their laughs. I wish I can also have this kind of breakfast with my family or friends. Sadly I don't have either of the two.

“ Ayaw mo ba ng pagkain?”

Rius suddenly spoke.

" Huh?"

" Hindi mo kasi ginagalaw yung pagkain mo. Hindi mo ba gusto?"  His eyes met my plate.

Realizations hit me as I stared at my unmoved food.

The other people looked at my plate too that made me shook my head.

" Hindi ba masarap?"

Nataranta ako ng marinig ang malungkot na boses ni Harris. His once cheerful and joking voice is gone.

Oh my gosh. What did I do?

" N-no—"

" Ay hindi talaga masarap?" His face went like a crumpled paper

" No! I m-mean. It's good. " I tried to crept a smile

" Why aren't you eating, then?"

I once again held my head low. Should I tell them?

" N-nothing. I a-am just not used in having breakfast like this. "

" What do you mean? Are you not comfortable eating with us? Gusto mo ba na mag-isa? We—"

" No. It's totally fine, " I cut Iza off

Huminga ako nang malalim bago nagpatuloy. I don't wanna cry.

" I u-usually eat alone. T-that's why this is new to me. "

I was expecting them to give me the same pathetic look that people usually give me. But their eyes gave me a different emotion.

I panicked.

" I'm sorry. A-am I getting dramatic? Sorry. I d-didn't mean to ruin your break—"

Iza on my left gave me a smile and a hug which surprised me. Her hug is warm that I felt my eyes getting teary.

How could she hug a stranger when my own mother can't even look at me without a disgust on her face?

" Don't worry. Kumain ka na para lumakas ka. " My eyes got even warmer when her voice sounded like a worried mother to her daughter.

When I look back at them, there was a faint smile on their lips.

They weren't sad, like what I'm fearing. It feels like they're giving me hope with their look.

Who are these people?

Our meal started and ended loudly. Their laughs and stories filled the whole time we were sitting together. Magaan ang pakiramdam ko habang kasama sila.

Nang matapos kumain ay kaniya kaniya na sila ng ginagawa.

Nahagip ng mata ko si Iza na pumunta sa garden para magdilig ng mga halaman kasama si Mav.
