Hallow tree

I grabbed Percys hand and pulled him closer to me too keep him safe. This reminded me of when mother and father murdered percivals family. The air felt different. Are home didnt really feel like home anymore. Percys face turned from one of happiness to pure terror. I knew that face. For more then he knows.

There was a rustling in the bush behind us. I pulled percy away from the potential danger. Another booming sound traveled through the village and then it clicked into my head.

Flashback

"Mother, father, you called" my older brother stood in front of me and Esther stood next to me as are parents smiled at us. My parents made eye contact with each other before turning back to us. "Well we thought it might be a good idea to go to Whitestone as Felix is going to be the head of the family after his birthday" I gasped and covered my mouth in excitement.
WHITESTONE!? Weve always wanted to go there!

Me and Esther looked at each other "im gonna make flower crowns!!!" she squealed while smiling. But felix on the other hand looked serious. "So were really going to go through with this?" He asked almost with a scowl on his face. "I mean it is your birthday and we always promised something big didnt we?" my mother smiled. "I will pack Y/ns and Esthers things then" Felix walked out of our fathers study as me and esther were too young to know whats going on. I was only 15 and esther is only like 7. I was busy most the time with Esther as she obviously wanted consistent attention.

When me and Esther were going to leave the room mother stopped us "y/n, esther i have a gift for you. Since the de rolos only know of Felix we got you a cozy little cabin near the city. I will bestow a power onto both of you." she then led us into her dungeon and suddenly cut my throat.

I choked on my blood and covered my throat as mother hid Esthers eyes away. "M-mughh-" i collapsed to the floor as i couldnt see anything but my own blood.

All i could hear was my dear sisters screaming then gurgling of her choking on her own blood before i lost that too.

When i came to i was in my room and my mother was next to me. "Mom?.." i shivered as my body was cold. "y/n!" my mother hugged me as i looked around confused "dont worry dear. Youll never have to suffer like that again" i held my throat as i felt a scar across my neck. I looked at my mother. "What did you do?"

End of flashback

Turns out mother cursed me and my sister. Apparently my curse was a success. I couldnt die. On the other hand my sister when are parents died would wreak havoc on whatever she could. Some power.

"Percy i need you to find your friends and find a way out of here!" i yelled as i tackled him before a tree could kill him.

"What are you going to do then?"  a fire broke out and my sister looked unrecognizable. I swallowed as he could see her drinking blood. He pulled out his gun and shot at her "Stop it percy!" i tackled him to the ground as my sister got shot. I could hear her screaming as i covered percys mouth then whisper yelled "ill find my brother. You go find your friends!" i pushed off of him and ran a different way while waving my arms "SIS!" i yelled and a tree came flying at me. Next thing i knew everything was black.
Did i fucking die again!?

Percys Pov/ the next morning

We put a stop to esthers acts. We decided to look for survivors in the morning.

"Percy!!!" i looked over at keylith and she was kneeling down next to a tree. When i made my way over i realized someone was underneath the tree. Their hand poked out from the tree, bloodied.

"Please we havent found my brother. Move it please..." Felix asked as it looked like he was breaking his back just trying to pick the tree up. My heart sank as felix didnt know where hsi brother was. "I got it" grog said while grabbing the tree.

But before grog could pick it up it flew another way. y/n gasped and sat up. His outfit wasnt it's pale white anymore. it was now just deep red.

"Y/n how the hell are you alive..." I knelt down next to him as he was basically hyperventilating. "T-the tree was hallow..." I sighed and hugged him once he stopped hyperventilating. He froze and hugged back after a bit.

"I thought I lost you for a second..."
