Chapter 6

 When we got to Cascade it was packed with so many people. We walked in through the door and saw a parade of people skating, eating, playing in the arcades and dancing on the skating floor. They weren't just regular people though... They were celebrities and artists. Walking into the place we saw Kaya, Londyn, Drew and Urban. 

As I ran over to my girls to give them a hug I said hi to Drew and Urban. After saying hi to them Kaya and Londyn took me to go get my skates. We all looked absolutely stunning. "Y/N you look soo fucking good!!!" Kaya said with excitement.

 Londyn agreed with her. "What! Me?! YOU guys look amazing!!" I said complimenting them... as I should. We all laughed and giggled together. While waiting in line to get my skates, I told them everything that happened at the apartment and in the car on the way over to Cascade. 

We all squealed with excitement. "Girl he likes you." Both Kaya and Londyn were saying. I rolled my eyes and continued with a different conversation. "Whatever... What about you, Kaya? It looks like you're getting comfortable over there with Drew..." I said with a gushy face. 

Kaya looked over at Drew and started blushing. "He asked me to go on a date with him." Kaya said. She tried to keep her cool but couldn't and started to squeal again. While we all were talking about our potential boo thangs, a tall handsome black man comes up to us and gives Londyn a hug. 

Me and Kaya both looked at each other and winked. Apparently Londyn was seeing someone else too. After the little reunion Londyn said "Oh Courtland these are my best friends Kaya and Y/N, the ones I was telling you about and guys this is Courtland... my date." "Hi, it's nice to meet you. I'm Courtland," He said in his deep, toned voice. 

Both Kaya and I couldn't help ourselves and said "Hey Courtland!" Before me and Kaya could ask Courtland anything, Londyn shouted "Courtland and I are going to go skate! BYE!!!" Me and Kaya waved flirtatiously at them. Londyn turned her back and flipped us off... with love of course. 

After Londyn left with Courtland, Jack and Drew came over to take us onto the skating floor. We skated for almost 30 mins and had the time of our lives. Jack, Drew, Urban, and Courtland were hitting it off while us girls were strutting it down the skating floor. 

After skating to some upbeat music, a slow song came. Everyone went to their boo thangs and started holding hands while skating. Even Kaya and Drew and Londyn, and Courtland were holding hands with each other. While skating I looked for Jack but I couldn't find him. 

Until Jack came up from behind me, scared me half to deaf and almost made me fall. Jack started laughing and I'm not gonna lie I was laughing too. "Jack!! That's not funny you almost made me fall!" I said while laughing. "It wasn't just funny. It was hilarious." I pushed him over while laughing even harder. While I slightly pushed him he was able to sneak his hand into mine and hold it tightly.

 I got butterflies everywhere... again. "Are you having fun?" He asks. "Yeah I actually am... I see you, Urban, and Drew were talking to Courtland." Courtland and Londyn were having a conversation with each other while skating and holding hands. "Yeah... he's really chill." Jack said with a smile. 

Me and Jack stopped at the wall and sat on it to catch our breath. While sitting I noticed everyone being in their own environment and having a good time. I looked over at Jack. He started talking to Tory Lanez... TORY LANEZ (If you've forgotten there are celebrities and artists in Cascade... Just saying). 

He looked over at me and gave me a cute smile and went back to talking to Tory Lanez. I couldn't take anymore of his cuteness. I wanted to kiss him so bad but I knew I had to wait for the right moment. All of a sudden Kaya and Londyn rush over to us. From what I saw it didn't look good. "Hey guys, sorry to interrupt but can we talk to you Jack?" Londyn said. She was making eye contact with Jack the whole time. "Yeah sure." Jack said as he got up from the wall. "I'll be back. Wait for me here." 

Before leaving he came to me at my face level and gave me a kiss on the cheek. After he kissed me on the cheek I started blushing.... Really HARD. I noticed that Drew, Kaya, Londyn, Urban and Jack were all talking with each other. 

There must've been something wrong. I couldn't really put two and two together so I went onto my phone and distracted myself with tiktoks. After about 5 mins Jack came up to me frantically. He was trying to avoid me from looking at something but I didn't know why. "We need to go." Jack said with a stern voice.

 With a confused face I said "Why? It's not even over yet... and we just got here." "I know but we have to go... I'm taking all of us out to dinner." I couldn't tell what was going on so I just said okay and got off the skating floor. 

I gave back my skates, put on my shoes and headed out. While heading out a person started to stare at us, then wave at us and then run towards us. Almost to the door the person shouted "Jack!!!! Is that you?!?!" We all stopped and everyone put their heads down. Even Jack. They all turned around and blocked me from being seen. 

When I heard the voice I was able to vaguely recognize it. The only person that I knew that has that type of voice was Harper.... my arch nemesis.... and Jack's ex from high school. "No... It couldn't be..." I thought to myself. 

Without hesitation I push everyone to the side and step forward. I looked at her from head to toe and saw her... "Oh my gosh.... Y/N.... What a surprise..." She said with no enthusiasm in her voice. My heart stopped beating... I couldn't breathe... I couldn't even speak.... The only thing I could say was... "....Harper...."
