After work and school
Cheryl and Toni walk into the house and sees Hazel sitting on the counter.
"There's my little butterfly"Toni said
"I'm not little anymore mom"Hazel said
Hazel jumps off the counter and goes upstairs.
"Did I do something wrong?"Toni ask
"She's been acting differently lately"Cheryl said
Cheryl cups her face and smiles.
"You did nothing wrong"she whispers
Toni nods and kisses her forehead. Toni grabs a water and goes in the living room. Cheryl looks by the door and sees a notebook in Hazel's bag. She grabs it and opens it. She starts reading it and she cries. She found out about Hazel's burning. She goes to Toni and Toni looks at her. Toni notices she's crying.
"Baby what's wrong?"Toni ask
"Our baby Toni. Our baby girl. She's burning herself"Cheryl said
"What do you mean?"Toni ask
"She takes a lighter and burns her skin"Cheryl said
Toni looks up at Cheryl and pulls her down on the couch. Toni calms her down and rubs her back.
"We'll figure it out. I'm gonna take a quick nap. Ok?"Toni said
Cheryl nods against her chest.
"Wanna join?"Toni ask
Cheryl shakes her head 'no' and Toni nods.
"Ok. I love you"Toni said
"Love you more"Cheryl said
Toni kisses her forehead and goes to their room and falls asleep. Cheryl goes upstairs into Hazel's bedroom.
"Hey mom"Hazel said
"Show me"Cheryl said
"What?"Hazel ask
"Show me"Cheryl said setting a lighter down
Hazel looks at the lighter and cries. Cheryl goes to Hazel and goes on top of her.
"Show me"Cheryl said
She starts looking at all over Hazel.
"Mom stop"Hazel said
She pushes Cheryl off her and stands up.
"You wanna see?"Hazel ask
Hazel rolls her sleeves up and Cheryl sees the burn marks. Cheryl cries and grabs her hands.
"Why? Why are you doing this?"Cheryl ask
"I thought that you and mom wouldn't get back together. That you guys were over. I just want you guys to be happy, with each other"Hazel said looking down
"Baby girl, it's normal for us to argue. Yeah it gets pretty big sometimes but we always find a way back to each other. We'll never split this family up. I love your mother very much. She was there for me when I had no one. And she loves me. Even though we fight and we do stupid things that make the other mad, we'll always find a way back to each other. And you. We love you so much. Your our life"Cheryl said
Hazel looks back up at her mother and sighs.
"I've stopped. I haven't done it in awhile"Hazel said
"Good. Please don't do this ever again. Promise me"Cheryl said
"I won't, mom. I promise. I love you"Hazel said
"I love you more, baby girl"Cheryl said
Cheryl hugs her and runs her fingers through her hair.
"Why don't you get some rest?"Cheryl ask, pulling away
"Okay. Oh, and what's for dinner?"Hazel ask
"How about we order some pizza tonight?"Cheryl ask
"Okay"Hazel said
Cheryl smiles and kisses her head. She leaves her room and shuts the door behind her. She sighs and runs her fingers through her hair. Then she sees Toni running down the hall.
"Baby, what are you doing?"Cheryl ask
"There's been a break in at the office. I need to get down there"Toni said
"What? Do you want me come with?"Cheryl ask
"No, it's fine. I don't want you to get hurt. Just stay here with Hazel"Toni said
"Okay. Just be careful, my love"Cheryl said
"I will, I promise"Toni said
Toni pecks her lips and leaves the house. Cheryl sighs and goes into the living room. She turns the TV on and puts a movie on, so she can just keep her mind off things.
Toni speeds to the office and sees police everywhere. She gets out of her car and goes closer.
"Ma'am, you can't go in there. There's civilians trapped inside"A officer said
"This is my building. I'm going in"Toni said
Toni runs inside and sees people on the ground, hiding. She goes closer to them and kneels down.
"Are you guys the only ones in here?"Toni whispers
They nod and Toni sighs.
"Okay. Slowly walk outside, once you get outside, just run. Okay? Don't look back"Toni whispers
They start leaving and Toni goes to the stairwell. She runs up the stairs and sees a whole bunch of people, with guns. She sighs and grabs her pocket knife out.
"What the fuck do you think your doing?! This is my fucking company!"Toni yells
They all aim their guns at her, making her groan.
"Yep. Didn't think this through, like usually"She whispers to herself
"Get on the fucking ground! Now!"One yells
"I don't think so. You guys don't belong here"Toni said
"Do you really wanna get shot?"Another ask
"Do you really wanna go to prison for shooting Toni Topaz?"Toni ask
"Shut the fuck up. Who do you think you are? Walking around like your the most important person on earth. With all your fucking money"A guy ask
"Who do you think you are? Coming in here and threatening people and stealing. I built this myself. I made my way to the top all by myself. Everything I have in my life, I deserve. So, why don't you guys get the fuck out of here?"Toni ask
"Why don't you just shut the fuck up?"He ask
Toni sighs and glares at them all.
"You guys really need to leave. I'm not doing with this fucking shit. I should be home, with my fucking wife and daughter. That's another thing, you really gonna shoot someone that has a family at home? That has a wife and a kid? You don't wanna be that person"Toni said
"Maybe I do"He said
