Hey everybody, Pixel here. And welcome to the first chapter of Fox Among Fairies in 2023! Man, this year's going to be a good one with this story since I plan on ending season 1 and perhaps starting season 2 (I'm still discussing with my partner if we should include the first movie into this story's timeline since we saw the poster of it and we agreed that the animation style used for it was horrible, so we're left unsure to use it or not. We could do a coin flip and see what chance tells us, in the end, to see what we do.)

Sorry for the nearly two-month delay, I WAS writing the chapter at the beginning of November but one thing led to another and I got writer's block which resulted in me putting the chapter on hold for a while until I'd eventually get over the writer's block, which I finally did.

Okay, again, the last chapter looked to be a good one since Me and my partner got positive reviews from the sites (Fanfic, Wattpad, and AO3), and it's good and all, thanks by the way, and just like in the past, some of y'all gave us some ideas for the story and feedback that we've taken into consideration. And we'll look and see if we can include the ideas into the story, but don't get your hopes up if we don't do your idea.

Now, this chapter is like the last one, completely unique as it's NOT based on any of the episodes from Season 1 as it's a completely original one, coming from the mind of Pixel.

Just like the last chapter, this one contains soundtracks from an anime movie: Your Name, and also contains music from real life, which if you can see by now, will be used later on in the chapter. So be prepared.

I left a poll in the last chapter regarding Mirta, we're happy to see what the results were and we see what everyone wants (Well, not everyone since there were a few who said no.) We will reveal the results of the poll at the end of the chapter if you want to see them

[Okay, sorry about this but before we actually go into the chapter, I'd like to address something that has recently caught my attention and I felt that I had to share this news with you all. So, about a week ago, I was busy looking at any animation news that wasn't related to the flaming shit called: Velma (And yes, I have heard of it, seen it and I hate it), when I saw something related to Winx, at first I thought that they were announced a season 9 for it considering how crappy season 8 was with the art style they used. So, with hesitation, I clicked on the post and I was shocked at what I read. So, apparently, instead of there going to be a season 9 or a movie of the live-action adaption on Netflix due to it being canceled recently. I saw that the creator of the original show, that's right, THE CREATOR of Winx announced that they are making a reboot of the cartoon. This time around, it'll be CGI. Now, I'm...not a huge fan of CGI that is used outside of the Big Screen Blockbusters like DC or Marvel...or any movie in general (As long as it's not too shitty like MCU Phase 4), but I have hope on this and maybe...it could work. I saw an image that was leaked that showed us the Winx Club in its CGI glory and I must say, it looks well done, greatly polished and it looks great. Especially since they made Aisha and Flora have their original skin tone again. There isn't any more info I could get at the time of writing this but I'll look out and try to get more as the year goes by, but I can say that this reboot is set to release next year since 2024 will be the 20th anniversary of when Winx Club was first aired. So, yeah. I just wanted you all to know too.]
