This is another request I got, enjoy!
Reagan was in her lab working on an invention, this time she was making a teleportation machine. Even though there was already a teleportation machine in her office, she wanted to make a new and improved one. But there was a problem, Reagan was sick and she knew it. Though she decided to ignore it as usual and kept working. She had a high fever and she kept sneezing and her runny nose wasn't going away anytime soon. No one was concerned besides her boyfriend Brett. Even if he was a little overdramatic about her being sick, she knew he cared for her deeply. Reagan sneezed once again, and maybe Alphabeta was starting to get a bit concerned too, "Reagan, you've been sick for days. Aren't you going to do something about that?" He asked her, "I'm fine, it was just a sneeze, I'm not sick." Reagan said being in denial again. She then heard the doors to her lab open, she turned around and saw Brett. "Brett? What are you doing here?" She asked blinking her eyes vastly, "Ray-Ray! I came to check on you, I know you've been sick lately." He said, but Reagan just slapped her face and told him, "Brett, I know you care about my well-being or whatever, but I'm okay, you don't need to worry." After she said that her body felt lighter than usual and she fell off her chair. The last thing she heard before she fainted was Brett calling her name.
A couple of hours later, Reagan woke up and felt that she wasn't in her lab anymore, she was on a bed. But this wasn't her room, she got up quickly in her fighting mode. "What the hell!? Where am I?!" She asked in a panic and when she looked to her right she saw Brett. "Woah, Ray-Ray. It's just me, you fainted so I decided to bring you to my place to take care of you since you won't." Brett slightly pulled Reagan down to her pillow once again, "Brett, I can take care of myself if someone asked me to, but no one asked!" She said and Brett looked around, "I asked Ray-Ray, but you didn't listen and just got even sicker each day. I'm not letting this happen again." He said as he put a warm damp towel onto Reagan's head, she hated the fact of someone taking care of her because she always thought she could do it on her own. But she knew she couldn't and Brett taking care of her was the best option she had right now. Her dad never took care of her when she was sick, he always told her to walk it off and that she would get better eventually, and she did. But this time it wasn't going away till it got taken care of. Reagan was already annoyed at the fact of her not being able to take care of herself, but she also liked that it was Brett who was doing it for her. She looked to her right to see that Brett was pouring her some liquid medicine, and this freaked her out. She always hated the taste of it and refused to take it. When Reagan was little, her mom would at least give a shit about her being sick, but she would always give her that disgusting medicine and she would throw it on the ground after the first sip she took. "Brett, what are you doing?" She asked nervously. "I'm pouring you some medicine! It'll help you get better." After he was done pouring it into the small measuring cup, he sat on the bed next to Reagan and asked her to sit up. She did what she was told, but as the cup was being handed to her she turned her face away from Brett. "Erm, Ray-Ray? Why'd you turn your head? I'm on this side." He asked, "I'm not taking that disgusting liquid, Brett. It'll make me sicker than I already am." She complained, Brett was just irritated at this point, he wanted Reagan to get better and she was refusing to take the medicine that would help do that. "Ray-Ray, please stop acting like a child who won't take her medicine." He told her, and this made Reagan swoop her head around and say, "Says the one who's literally nicknamed manchild by Myc!" This made Brett shut up a bit. "Okay, fair. But please Ray-Ray, I hate seeing you like this." He gave her his puppy eyes, she thought it was adorable but she still refused to drink it. Brett thought for a moment about what he could do and he had an idea. If the easy way wasn't working, he'd do it the hard way. "Ray-Ray! Could you face me again? I'd love to see your pretty face." He asked of her, this made her turn around. "I don't think I should be that pretty when I'm literally sick Brett." After she said that he slightly put her against the wall while trying to hold her face. "Agh! Brett! What the fuck are you doing?!" He wasn't hurting her, and Reagan was honestly a little surprised by what Brett was doing and kinda thought it was hot too, but she immediately put that thought out of her head. "Sorry, Ray-Ray. It's just to make you feel better." He took the cup took Reagan's mouth and opened it using his other hand, he poured it in and closed her mouth. Reagan closed her eyes at the fact that it was bubble gum flavored, that was the worst one. "Did you swallow it, Ray-Ray?" Brett asked, she didn't have the time to lie, so she just swallowed it and gagged a little. "Please tell me we're never doing that again." She told him as he took his hand off Reagan's face and handed her a cup of water. She drank some of it to get the taste out of her mouth. "Ehh, we're going to have to do this for the next five days." He replied, Reagan groaned at his response, she put down the cup and laid back down. He got up and said, "But don't worry, Ray-Ray! I'll be by your side every time!" He smiled and left the room, leaving Reagan to her own thoughts. She didn't like this, obviously, but she knew she couldn't just magically make herself not be sick anymore. But then she started to think about what Brett did when he made her take the medicine, I never thought Brett could do that, he- Her thoughts got interrupted when Brett suddenly came back in the room, "So, uhh, I don't know if you wanted chicken noodle soup or tomato soup... So, what would be best?" He asked her, Reagan rolled her eyes. "Aren't you the expert on sickness? You make the chicken noodle soup." She told him, he nodded and went out of the room to make the food. Reagan was getting tired at this point, and not because of Brett, but because of being tired in general. She thought she didn't even have she had the strength to eat. She passed out a few minutes later and that's when Brett was finally done making the soup, he slightly shook her awake, "Ray-Ray, I have the soup." She blinked a few times and finally woke up. She sat up, "Oh, did I fall asleep?" She asked and Brett nodded, "Yeah! But that's a good thing, sleeping is the number one rule of getting better from being sick." He told her. Fuck, sleeping was one of the things she wasn't good at, and even if she took sleeping pills, it never worked on her. "Oh... How fun." She said cracking an irritated smile on her face as she took the soup from Brett's hands. "This actually doesn't taste bad, usually the food I eat is shit." Reagan said and Brett had a worried look on his face. "I really want you be healthy Ray-Ray. I don't want you to be replacing your kidneys in the future like your dad." He said, "So, you want me to be like you? Work out and eat decent food?" Reagan asked while eating her soup, Brett nodded. "Yeah! We can work out together, go on dates, we can try to make dinner?" He wasn't sure about the last one, because even though he knew how to heat up soup, he wasn't a chef and neither was Reagan. When Reagan was finished, Brett took the bowl and gave Reagan an air kiss, he did not want to get sick. Reagan smiled and laid down again, hopefully she would be left alone to think and rest for once. She thought about the team, they didn't seem to have any concern about her being sick. Maybe they were just oblivious to it, she didn't know. But Brett, he noticed she was sick the first she sneezed that week and asked if she was. She guessed that Brett was just the expert on knowing when people are sick and how to take care of them.
