As Izuku and everyone continued with classes, they were told of the final exams and how they would be different for them. In Izuku's case, he was forewarned he was to be faced with a Marine of Vice Admiral status at the bare minimum due to Akainu's interference. In addition, Izuku was given a chance to meet with Marco the Phoenix a former Division Commander of the Whitebeard pirate. Thanks to this, he was able to learn a little of his father. Now that a date is set for a battle, Izuku and his friends prepare for the worst.
Izuku POV:
The week before the finals passed by as if it was nothing. Momo had made a study session for our group with those that were still not exactly certain I was 'ok' to be around not invited. As such, people like Kaminari and Ashido were given Kaachan to ask. I don't know what he did, but I regularly saw them panicking and trying to study as hard as they could while also smelling what I thought was burned bacon coming from where they studied from. Honestly, I didn't care as much since my main concern was what they planned to do during the physical part. It scared me more because Akainu had it changed last minute because of his grudge against me. I just hoped it wasn't something like he did during the Sports Festival.
"Pencils down." The written part of the exam finally ended for us with Mr. Aizawa explaining what was next. "Get your hero costumes on and meet me by the buses for your physical half."
"Dammit. Why do we have to face something besides robots? It's Portgas they have a problem with, so why are we dealing with this?"
"I'm with you there, Kaminari. I'd rather him just leave so I can enjoy Baby 5's delicious body with her failing to understand what's right and wrong to just follow my command-" Momo stopped this with a book hitting the little perv over the head and Kyoka using her jacks to puncture Kaminari's eyes. I wasn't exactly ok with them going to violence, but I was also not angry they did due to what was being said about Baby 5.
"Shut up and get your fucking costumes, losers. If you wanna complain, then that just means you're not gonna succeed in life. So shut the hell up and just do what you're supposed to do." Kaachan tossed me my costume for us to walk out along with the rest of our class in tow. "So, did you hear that braided princess is gonna be doing the final exam with us?"
'Braided princess?' "You mean Rebecca? I heard that they're doing this as part of her pre college credits to hopefully get her up to speed."
"I heard she was told to because of the shit they're putting you through. Something about trying to level the field a little more or something."
I stopped for a second while thinking about this. 'They told Rebecca to do this because of something they were throwing me into. Why not make my life feel more threatened why don't you.' I walked towards the changing room to start getting ready, afraid of what the final exam was going to hold for our physical half.
Near the buses
As we arrived at the buses, we noticed Rebecca and Kyros sitting down near them. "Hey! Izuku! Momo! Ochako! Everyone!" Rebecca noticed us to run up and talk with us. "So how did your final exams go for the written half?"
"I can't say I scored a perfect grade, but I don't think I'll have to worry about failing."
"Same here."
"Yeah."
"Yaomomo's teachings really helped." Everyone started laughing a little before I felt something to jump out of the way and see great grandpa Garp punch the ground and make an indent.
"WHAT THE HECK!?"
"Haha! Your senses are as sharp as they should be. Nice job on your end, Izuku."
"Sharp my ass! You just tried to turn my head into paste!"
