8 | One year to us! (Past - 6)

~ 25th July 2011 ~

It's the 25th of July, Today Vansh and I complete a year of being together! Time flew by so fast.

Right now, I am wrapping Vansh's gift, a Rolex Watch. I know he'll love it but I hope he likes the wrapping too because wrapping a gift is a very complicated task, at least for me!

Vansh and I have decided to go to a nice restaurant but not so fancy since we wanted to enjoy ourselves and spend time with each other. After that, we'll go to have ice cream at Nirula's and the spot Vansh showed me where we kissed for the first time *blushes*

"Mom - Dad, It's Ruchika's birthday today and she has kept a party. So... Can I go?" I asked.

"Ruchika? Who?" My mom asked.

"My school friend, Ruchi? Remember?"

"Oh yes yes, I remember. Yeah you can go."

"Okiee Thank you!!" I said excitedly.

"But who are you going with?" My dad asked and I had to come up with an answer immediately.

"Umm, with... With Rubina and Shruti." I said as their were the first names that popped up in my head.

"Okay" My dad said and I ran up to my room before they could ask anything else.

Yes!! Plan successful.

So, I of course couldn't tell that it was Vansh's and my one year together today and we are going on a date that's why I had to lie to my parents(sorry mom and dad) about Ruchika's birthday, who is my school friend. I told her, Rubina and Shruti about my plan and they thankfully agreed *wide smile*.

It's 7 o'clock and I am waiting for Vansh's message. I am wearing a white top which had elbow-length puff sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. I gave my makeup a last touch-up and checked my outfit in the mirror. Perfect!

*Ting*

I heard my phone ring, I checked it and saw Vansh's message 'I am here maam😉' and I replied with 'Coming 🥰🥰'.

I left my room to tell my parents that I am
leaving.

"Bye, guys! I am going" I said heading to the main door.

"Is the cab here?" My dad asked.

"No, I am going to Rubina's house and then we both will book a cab and pick Shruti up and then go to Ruchika's party," I said confidently. Since Rubina's house was within walking distance this was the best idea I came up with.

"Okay beta. Enjoy" My mom said and I closed the door behind me.

I moved my eyes toward the road and saw a car parked and I knew it was Vansh. I went towards the car and sat inside.

"Hii!" I said settling in. "Happy First Relationship Anniversary" I hugged him before giving a kiss on his cheek.

"Hey Ashu" He hugged me back. "Same to you"
He gave me a peck on my lips as we parted.

"Shall we go?" He asked.

"Yes" I grinned.

Vansh started the engine and we both left for the cafe, while talking.

"I forgot to tell you something" He said in a serious voice.

"What?" I asked, looking at him. "What happened?"

"You look damn sexy!" He said looking at me, I blushed and made him face the road.

"Move your eyes to the roads I don't want to die so soon" I said. "By the way, you also look damn hot!" I said staring at him. He was wearing a black shirt and a black pants which made him look sooo hot!

Did I tell him that black shirt is my weakness?

We both went inside the restaurant and the waiter lead us to the table Vansh had booked for us.

"Here you go, sir and ma'am" The waiter showed us the table and went away.

We were alone on the terris. The soothing wind, sky full of stars, the beautiful set up and I know this night would be the best.

"Wow!" I exclaimed. "This is beautiful" I side hugged Vansh, admiring the set up.

"Thank you" Vansh said hugging me back.

We parted and Vansh pulled out a chair for me. Such a gentleman!

"Thank you" I chuckled as Vansh bowed down and went to his seat.

We both ordered our food and dig in as we were really hungry. Technically I was really hungry as I didn't have lunch since I wanted to save some space for these mouth watering dishes.

"Okay! Now gift time" I said clapping my hands and gave Vansh his gift.

"Wow! Thank you Ashu! I love it!" He said with a wide smile on his face.

"Voh chhor! Did you like the wrapping? I did it!" I said proudly. (Leave that)

"Ooh! I am impressed miss Ashi. You did a great job"

"Thank you sir" I giggled.

"Here's your gift" He handed me a little box which said Giva on it. I opened it and saw a beautiful heart pendant.

"Oh my god! Vansh, it's beautiful!" I said touching the sliver pendant. "I hope it's not too expensive"

"Forget about that" He said "May I have a dance with the lady?" He stood up and offered me his hand.

"Why not?" I took his hand.

He took his phone out from his pocket to put on some music. After putting on a romantic
song, he kept his phone on the table and held my waist.

We started dancing slowly, swaying our
bodies to the slow tune. He looked deep in my
eyes, showing many unsaid emotions.

At last Vansh twirled me around before the music ended. I moved closer to him, my chest touching his. He leant forward, claiming my lips in a slow kiss.

We both pulled away as we heard someone climbing up the stairs.

We went downstairs to the counter to pay the bill. We both split the bill as I was too adamant on not letting Vansh paying the whole bill.

Again, why should only boys pay the bill on dates?

We both walked out of the restaurant hand in hand and head towards his car.

I apologise for not posting since a few days and also If this update isn't so great, I am really busy nowadays as I have my exams coming up. Updates might be irregular but will try to post once a week.
