the Washington resistance was calm, just like it had been for the last three years, the Washington girl, sitting in her room, while her father was downstairs in his office, probably reading a book, and a maid was preparing dinner,
it was the first day before school started, which made Amara annoyed, she was annoyed she had to go back there and do the same routine, wake up go to school, get back home, homework, dinner then going to bed again.
obviously the girl went out, alot actually. but she preferred to be alone, she found comfort in the loneliness, she liked being alone but would completely hate if she felt alone.
amara had her own mind, she thought about things differently, she liked writing so much, which is why, she has way too many notebooks and diaries. she would write everything down and she had a plan, to publish a book when she is eighteen or older.
it was the year previous for her first high school year, the year before freshman year and it wasn't exciting at all — so the almost fourteen years old girl couldn't wait any longer to get out of school
as amara was about to start writing, there was a knock on her door “come in” amara said, making the door open slightly showing the maid.
“dinner is ready honey” the maid said, whose name was Abigail. amara loved Abigail, they had a nice bond, amara loved Abigail as if she was her mother, and abigail loved amara as one of her own kids.
“i will be right behind you” amara replied with a small smile that barely anyone received.
ten minutes later amara was downstairs with her father and abigail, who at first liked eating in the kitchen, but young amara got upsedmt and didnt eat without abigail. and after that, Michael, amaraʼs father insisted that abigail sat with them and ate.
he hated whining and crying, and also he didn't know how to stop amara from being sad or getting upset, he didn't even know how to know what was her mood, because she barely smiled, she just had a bitch resting face.
amara always seemed to be a spoiled girl, which she was, well that was until everything went downhill in her life.
well not everything, but she felt as if it was that way, and she was never the same, not since that night.
amara only smiled when she was at home or with her best friend, aria stlinski, the sarcastic girl who she shared all her classes with.
obviously it happened after amara insisted about it, and made her dad Michael ask the school to make her wish come true.
Michael and amara shared one interest probably, books, amara liked to write and Michael liked to read. oh they also both liked coffee, the amount of caffeine amara consumed a day was insane.
“so tomorrowʼs your first day back to school” Michael said to the fourteen years old girl who only nodded while eating.
“do you need a ride?” michael asked but amara declined his offer
“no, I am driving with aria, thanks though” amara said making Michael nod, the dinner continued quietly, while amara excused herself right after abigail did.
but before she went upstairs she turned to her dad “um I am taking my things and going over to ariaʼs, I am supposed to spend the night there” Amara said, completely forgetting to tell her father earlier
