(Niana)

Me and my girlfriend, Niana lived in an apartment together. It wasn't big, wasn't too small, but just right for us. I'm still in my intern year, three months from being a resident. I originally wanted to work with my mom at Grey Sloan but there were no open spots so I had to go for Seattle Pres.

Niana worked at a bakery, it was a little job that brought money into the house before she finished college to become a clothing designer. Both me and her support each other with our career choices equally.

"Babe, where are my keys?" Niana asked flipping the covers off the freshly made bed.

"I don't know, did you look on the dresser?"
I said from the bathroom.

"Did you look-

She started to mock before looking at the dresser and seeing the keys laid out. "Oh."
I cut the bathroom light off and walked into our bedroom.

"I just made that." I groaned, looking at the messy bed.

"Sorry, love you." She kissed me and then rushed out of the apartment. I heard the door open but it never closed. "Babe?" She called from the front.

"Yeah, baby?" I peeked my head out of the bedroom to the front door. I couldn't quite see who the person was at the door because Niana was standing in front.

"Someone is here for you." She moved out of the way and I stared my middle and high school girlfriend in the face. It had been a while since I had seen her. Try maybe 11 years. We got into it and broke up in 10th grade. What could she be doing here?

"Kelly." I walked over to the front door.

"Hey, T." She said nervously, looking me up and down. She was to busy looking at me that she didn't catch the mean mug from Niana.
