"Ok, I love you too." Miranda said before hanging up the phone.
"Who was that, Isaiah?" Ben questioned walking into the kitchen.
"Yeah, he said he is actually enjoying himself. He got room service, watched a movie yesterday and today he's going to try and go out for golfing."
"That's definitely my son-
"MOOOMM!!" Miranda instantly started the blender for her morning green smoothie. She didn't have time to hear them complain this early in the morning.
"MOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!" Jasmine yelled at the top of her lungs. Miranda smacked her teeth and shut it off.
"WHAT!"
"I cut myself! There is blood everywhere!" Both Miranda and Ben rushed upstairs.
"What happned?" Miranda bust into the room, panicked only to find the girls with folding arms and the boys with annoyed looks on their face.
"You said you were bleeding."
"I lied, tell Josiah to give me back my book bag."
"I don't have your back pack."
"Yes you do! Stop lying. Mom I know he took it. I woke up and it wasn't next to my bed so I know someone took it because I know I didn't misplace it. And who else would take it but him?" She sneered.
"Jasmine, he didn't take you back pack. Last night when you were sleep I threw your old one out and got you another one. It was long over due for a new one. I must have forgot to give it to you, go check in my room. You two need to stop fighting all the damn time. Be civil for once in your lives."
After getting everyone ready the married couple split, Miranda on carpool duty today while Ben was finally having a day off. After dropping the kids off at school she went to work.
"You will be in surgery in no time."
"Thank you Dr. Bailey." The patient smiled.
"You're so welcome." Walking out the room her phone buzzed in her pocket. Pulling it out she answered her husband.
"Hello?"
"Don't freak but your family is here."
"What?!, where?!?, at my house?!?"
"Yes, they are, they said they were coming for the holidays." He said moving out the way of a small running body.
"The holiday- I didn't invite them."
"Well they invited themselves."
"When you say family, who do you mean?"
"Your mom and dad, two of your uncles, three of your aunts, your sisters. Everyone's getting a hotel but Melinda and Sonya insisted on staying here. They said they would take the guest bedroom."
"Ok, just make sure them bad ass kids don't mess up my house." She stressed rubbing her forehead.
"Ok, love you."
"Love you too." When they hung up Ben went back downstairs in the middle of everyone.
"Tj, stop touching that." Her twin sister, Melinda scolded to her 10 year old son.
"So, when is my daughter getting home from work?" Elena asked from the couch.
"Her shift ends at 9."
"Alright, we will stay here and wait for her to get home I guess. Where is the grand babies?" William questioned.
