Gabrielle
She didn't know what she was doing. Maybe she was going crazy. A couple loose screws? Maybe she felt she was too boring. Maybe it was-
"Gabrielle?" After being pulled out of her trance Gabi looked up at Jacob.
"Yeah?"
"You okay?"
"Yeah, yeah. Just...thinking." She said pulling at her fingers. Noticing her nervousness Jacob grabbed her hands.
"Babe, it'll be fine. Stop overthinking, you're not going to get caught." He assured. She nodded trying to believe it herself. If her timing was correct. Her mom would be up in the next four hours. That gave her enough time to spend some time out, have some fun, and get her ass home. It was already 4 in the morning and she was tired.
"Now come on, let's go get some drinks." She let him lead her to where everyone was.
"Do you drink?" Jacob asked handing her a cup of some strong liquor. She didn't know what it was but it was dark and smelt strong.
"No."
"Oh ok, I'll start you on something not as strong. Def not any Hennessy or Vodka. Ok here." He handed her a beer.
"Thanks." Taking a sip her face scrunched up.
"You don't like it?" She quickly fixed her face nodding yes.
"Oh ok, come on we're going to go smoke and chill."
"Smoke?"
"Yeah, you don't do that either?"
"No, my mom would kill me if I did any of that. She would kill me if I she knew I was even here."
"Well you can always try new things. It makes you feel good. Come on." He pulled her over to the pick-up truck everyone was sitting in. Hopping in the back he helped her in.
"Hey, this is my girlfriend Gabrielle." Gabrielle waved shyly.
"Heyyy, Gabbie gab." One of his friends slurred. "We've heard a lot about you. You do look pretty. Turn around." Gabrielle raised an eyebrow at him before sitting down. Fuck that. That's where she drew the line.
"Heyyy."
"Markus leave her alone." Jacob warned sitting down before pulling Gabi into his lap. "Ok here, try it. You do know how to do it right?"
"Yeah, I see my brother do it all the time. I think I just might know how to roll one if I'm being honest." He looked at her like a proud dad. Taking a long inhale she let out a gut wrenching cough.
"Jesus." Jacob mumbled patting her back.
"You good?" She shook her head still coughing. "Yeah you took a pretty big hit. Start off slow." She took that into consideration when the blunt was passed back to her. Soon enough they were all crossfaded.
"I need to get home." She mentioned through the comfortable silence and music blasting in the background.
"I can drive you."
