My alarm goes off at around 7am, waking both me and Pepper up at the sudden sound. I quickly turn it off and remain in to bed for a few minutes more before getting up and into the shower.
*5 minutes later*
I step out, and Pepper whines at the door where Dolly is sitting outside. "Alright, come in" Dolly enters the bathroom with us as I brush my teeth and get dressed for work today.
I check the time on my phone 7:05 It reads. "You two ready for breakfast?" I ask Pepper and Dolly and they wag their tails in reply. We exit the bathroom and go to the kitchen where the girls head over to their bowls, waiting impatiently for me to fill them. I grab their kibble as Dolly starts her yapping. "Shh, Dolly, people are sleeping" I say, in a hushed toned. I pour her kibble first to get her to be quiet, then pepper's. I open up my cabinet to find the cereal and pour it into my bowl before going to sit on the couch. I turn on a cooking show and begin to eat.
*About 25 minutes later of eating and telling dogs off for scratching up their bed*
"You two, are grounded! No TV squirrels for the week!" I quietly yell before looking at the time on the microwave 7:30 "Shit, I have to go!" I quickly kiss both Pepper and Dolly on their little heads and say my goodbyes before grabbing my purse and keys and running out the door. After going down the three flights of stairs in my apartment, I tiredly hurry to my car. "Curse how little stamina I have" I put the car in drive and after around 30 minutes I barely made it in front of the house. "I'm gonna get fired before I even start working goddamnit" I park the car and reach for my keys before I remember he said '8:30' not '8:00'. 'i rushed for nothing' I think to myself before hearing a knock on the window. I look up to see Elias with his signature smirk on his face. I roll down the window, wondering why he's out here "So eager for your first day, huh?" He laughs to himself as he opens up my door. I unclip my seat belt but it gets stuck so I try to pull at it though it gets even more stuck. "Damn it" I mutter My eyes pull back to Elias, snickering at me as he waits for a second before unclipping the seatbelt for me and pulling me out the car. "Oh.." I say, my face red from embarrassment. "C'mon, let's get you started" he says, taking my hand and dragging me inside his house. "You remember where the kitchen is, right?" He says, his hand still attached to mine. I nod my reply and he takes me up the stairs to a room where I remember his bedroom is before guiding me to another door. He opens the door to reveal a massive bathroom, probably the entire space of my apartment was in this singular bathroom. He smirks at me once he sees my mouth come ajar in shock.

'who needs a bathroom this big?' I whisper to myself though he seems to catch it. "I do, Stella" he releases my hand as he begins to walk around, showing me things. "Here's the bath and cabinets which hold all my products in them" He proceeds to open 2 drawers which contain atleast a hundred bottles all together. He then grabs my hand once more and pulls me through another door which holds a walk in closet. I notice women's clothing more towards the back and stare for a minute before turning my attention back to Elias, who is now watching me for my reaction. "Whos are those? You have a girlfriend?" I don't know why, but I was praying he said no "No. Those are for someone else" my heart sunk but it was quickly forgotten as he pulled me out of the bedroom/closet/bathroom, whatever you wanna call it. He then leads me to another room, maybe a guest room? "Here is where you'll be staying." He says and once again, my jaw drops. "Huh? No! I cant stay here?" I immediately say, my heart pounding in my chest. He leans up against the wall. "And why not?" I have my dogs to take care of and my own bills to pay, I can't stay here. He takes me into the gorgeous room and through and second door where a pet area resided. "How.." I instantly began before I'm cut off "I already told you, Stella. I do background checks on all my employees." He says casually. As tempting as it is, I cant stay. It wouldn't feel right. "Elias, i-" I began again but once again, cut off "Yes. Stella. You can stay. I can literally give you anything you want, clothing, money, jewelery, you say it and you got it. Why don't you want me!" He says, coldness spread across his tone. I remain quiet. He looks at me, waiting for an answer. "I-i just don't know you well and still..your kinda mean" I mutter the last part of the sentence. His eyes soften "is that it?" He says "I can change, we can take as long as you need, I'll be here" he grabs my hands and puts them on his chest. "Please, stay" the look on his face made me instantly wanna give in. "I don't know how my dogs will react..." I say as he brightest up immediately "They'll love it! I'm sure!" He says We both remain quiet.
"Stay..?" He says quietly, still holding onto my hand. I don't know where this new Elias came from, but I love him already. After a few more moments of contemplating, I give in. I watch him celebrate and give me a key to his house. "We can go to your house tomorrow and get your stuff!" He says, smiling "Sure.." I mutter. I'm kind of gonna miss that little apartment. With that, he hugs me and says goodnight, leaving me in the room alone. "..what the hell just happened." I think to myself "I thought I was working here but apparently I now live here too?" I sit in the bed, and god damn was it comfortable. "Maybe this wont be so bad" I think as I imagine Pepper running all over the play area in the next room. I slowly fall asleep, imagining Pepper and Dolly happily running around and playing.
