After shopping, We all decided to call it a day and go home.
"Byebye Stella!!" Chloe says as she hugs me tightly.
"Goodbye, dear, see you again soon!" I watch her shoot a wink to Elias as she enters her range Rover with Matthew.
After I finished saying goodbye, Elias and I returned back to the limo.
"Did you have fun?" He questions
"Yea! I like Charlotte, she's really nice!" I begin to stare out the window, watching them leave.
"We will have to go again, but just us." He grumbles
"And why is that? Didn't you have fun?" I turn my gaze to him as the driver begins to pull out of the parking space and enter the road.
"You weren't with me the entire time."
He says as he stares me in the eyes.

I remain quiet before he speaks up again

"Although, it's nice to see you happy for once. No yelling or being angry, just smiling." He says, smiling to himself at the thought
"Well maybe I'd smile more often if I'd actually have a say in things a bit more frequently" I say
"Fine. Would you like to go out with me." He says, nonchalantly.
"Can I think on it" I reply after a moment of silence.
"Fine." He mutters, annoyed at my answer.

*20 minutes later*

We arrive back at the house and I'm unbuckling as he opens the door for me and helps me out.
As I grab the bags, he unlocks the door to he house before turning to me, a startled expression on his face.
"Fuck" he says as he then enters the house.
I soon walk in after him, wondering what was wrong before I see it.
Broken vases, drawers open with its contents scattered about the floor ect.
"You where robbed!" I utter in shock before I hurriedly rush up the stairs to see Pepper lying in the hallway with Dolly whimpering and scratching the floor beside her.
"ELIAS!!!" I scream, dropping to my knees as my I pick up my dog and run downstairs.
"What? What happened?" He says as he comes over to see Pepper in my hand.
The tears that welled in my eyes began to drip down my face and I turn pepper over to show him what looked to be multiple knife wounds in her side and a big one near her face.

He grabs my hand and wipes my tears before dragging me to the car and speeding off toward she nearest vet center.

After arriving, Pepper is taken in to treat her wounds as I am forced to stay out in the waiting area with Elias.
Soon, a vet comes out, holding a clipboard.
"I'm sorry to say Mr and Mrs...um" she checks the clipboard
"Moore," she continues " although your dog is still alive, she will need to undergo surgery to remove the infected eye. Around 7'000 dollars" 
She says.
I stare in complete shock, knowing I'll never be able to pay that amount.
I begin sobbing harder once I realize my Pepper is gonna die before Elias puts his coat on me and hands the vet a stack of money.
"There. Call us once the surgery is complete." He says as he takes my hand and pulls me outside, into the car.
We drive in silence as I sit and contemplate what to say next.

"Thank you" I whisper "how can I repay you"
"Go on a date with me." He whispers back as we pull into his driveway.
"But.." I'm cut off as he turns to me and grabs my hand
"I promise, Estella, you'll feel like a damn queen, Please! Just one chance" he begs
Silence contaminates the area as he waits for my reply
"Alright.." I mutter as a cheerful look crosses his face.
"Thank you!" He gently places a kiss on my hand as he gets out and walks over to open my door.
He hugs me as I exit the car, which catches me by surprise.
We enter the house together as Dolly runs over to me, searching for Pepper.
"Hey Dolly, it's gonna be okay, Pepper is gonna be alright. You're so brave, my baby!" I bombard her with kisses until she hops out of my arms and rushes over to Elias, sniffing him and licking at his hands as he picks her up.
"Your baby, Huh?" He questions
My face reddens "yea, you got a problem with that?" I mutter
"No, that just means she's my baby too!"
He kisses her head and puts her down as she begins to run back upstairs.
I watch as he goes on his phone and walks into the kitchen without another word.
"Hey, what are you doing?" I chase after him, in search of an answer
"Looking at video footage from the last few hours." He says, taking a seat in the living room.
I sit beside him as he wraps his arm around me and we watch the tapes together
