"Are you mad?" Robby asked. He was at Cat's apartment for the night because the two wanted to hang out.
"No," Cat said. They were in her bedroom. She sat on her bed while he sat at her desk.
"So sharpening knives and swords, which I didn't know you had, at 2 am is just a hobby?"
Cat nodded. "Yup."
The knives and swords were her dad's. He had a collection of them. He'd get them from the different places he went. Cat usually kept them in the hall closet where she kept the stuff of her parents that she could bring herself to get rid of.
"Why?" Robby asked
"They were my dad's. I take them out every once in a while to clean them."
"Oh."

"Cat?" Demetri asked. It was his first time at her apartment.
"Hm?" Cat hummed as she turned to him. They were both in the kitchen. Demetri was looking through the fridge and she was looking in a cupboard.
"Why is there a big carrot in a bag of baby carrots?" He asked, holding up the bag.
"They needed adult supervision," Cat shrugged.
"Really, Cat?"
"What? I only had one big carrot left, so instead of taking up space with having the other bag in there I just put it with the babies."
"'Taking up space'? Cat, you have like three things in here."
"Okay and?"
