Zahra liked to be in control where she could.

She couldn't even imagine being Marc and knowing that someone could take over your body at any time and do what they wanted. She couldn't imagine knowing that someone else was speaking to her husband, looking at herself, and not even knowing about it.

Being the first one to find the car, she immediately jumped into the driver's seat to gain some sort of control back into her life. All her injuries had healed so she could fully see again.Omari and Layla sat in the back with Marc next to Zahra. They had remained reasonably quiet after the whole situation.

On the way to the car, Zahra had explained the Marc and Steven situation to Omari, so he understood exactly what was going on. Omari wasn't surprised that Zahra managed to find some as 'unique' as herself.

Marc had been admiring the holes in his jacket from the fight before he broke silence,"I really liked that jacket, oh well."

Zahra rolled her eyes as he lightly threw behind him, on the floor between Layla and Omari. He began to take his shirt off when Zahra glanced at him.

"What was harrow talking about?"

Layla sat straight, also incredibly interested in the conversation.

Marc pulled his shirt over his head,"What do you mean?"

"He said Layla and I had a right to know."

"I have no idea. Can you pass me a shirt, Omari?" Marc replied, pointing to his backpack, which Omari politely handed him a white shirt.

"I never told anyone why I really moved. I mean, but he knew, he just saw right through me," Layla continued. "And Zahra doesn't even remember any of it."

"No, don't let him do that." Marc replied. "You know, he's got this idea that he can see the true nature of people or some baloney like that. If that were true, I don't think he'd have a bunch of homicidal maniacs as his disciples, would he?"

"So, it's not true?" Zahra concluded. "What he said about you and..."

"No, it's not true. No, he's just trying to divide us. Don't let him get in your head."

"Every time I learn something new about you, I think, 'That's it. There can't possibly be any secrets left between us.'" said Layla,"And then something else pops up, and it's like I've not known you at all."

"Yeah. You haven't. You don't." Marc replied as he also glanced at Zahra.

"How did you even live with him?" Layla whispered in Zahra's ear.

"Oh don't play that shit, Marc," Zahra spoke the 'colourful language' she had picked up from her husband over the time she had known him.

That alone surprised him.
