Aurora's POV:

The game was pretty intense, our team was only losing by 2 points. It was 4-5, they could definitely win this. They're doing amazing so far, but let me not jinx it. It was a few minutes left of the game and Eli is finally out on the field. Everyone was cheering and standing, they were all surprised at how good the team is doing. I smiled knowing I never doubted them for a second. I watched as they all ran around the field trying to get the ball back. I glanced at Derek a couple of times and he looks very proud of Eli. Finally taking my eyes off Eli, I looked at the other team's captain and my heart dropped when I read the name.

How could I just realize that that's my old school's lacrosse team. And when did my ex-boyfriend become the captain? He doesn't even like lacrosse. Does he know I'm here? Did you tell anything to Eli or Tim? I'm really hoping he doesn't know I'm here because if he does it's just going to be chaos.

"Are you okay?" Eli's dad said quietly

I nodded "Yeah, I'm fine" I lie

I know he knew I was lying, but thankfully he didn't say anything. He continued watching the game. I closed my eyes for a second collecting myself, part of me didn't want to continue playing the game because of Jay. But the other part of me wanted to because of Eli. Knowing I promised him that I would watch him play today and seeing how I made him relax when he saw I was there. I knew that I have to continue watching this game for him. And it's not like I'm going to talk to Jay, as long as I stay away from him, I'll be okay.

Taking him in a breath before I started looking for Eli. That was when everyone started cheering loudly. Lindsay was jumping up and down, now I was really confused about what was happening. I saw Jay's team mad, I watched as Jay throw his lacrosse stick. My eyes moved to Eli and Tim to see them and the whole team celebrating.

Wait...
Did they..?

"What's going on?" I whispered to her, I just wanted to make sure

She turned to me and grinned "We win! Eli shot the winning goal!"

My eyes widen realizing I was right "I told you they would win!" I said smirking

She rolled her eyes "Whatever. Come on we have to meet the boys down there!"

Before I could even respond, she grabbed my hand and start pulling me down the bleachers. Derek, Lydia, Stiles, and Scott were following closely behind us. We past people that were still sitting down, as he made our way to the field. I was so excited to see Eli, I would be happy if someone else shot the score. But Eli shot it, and I knew he didn't have faith in himself while playing. Lindsay let go of my hand when she saw Eli, she quickly pulled him into a hug. Then she hugged Tim, and they all joked around when she let him go.

Eli took his helmet off before he could do anything. I pulled him into a hug, making him drop his helmet on the ground. I wrapped my arms around his neck and wrapped his arms around my back and put his head into my neck. I felt Sparks and chills run across my body. To be honest, I didn't even care if he was all sweaty, I had to force myself away from Eli's body, I didn't want to let go but I knew I had to.

I smiled at him as he is so happy "I shot the winning goal! I actually did that! You were there to see it! And You were right, I'm not that bad at lacrosse!" He said with a big smile as he run his hand through his sweaty hair

I nodded still smiling at him, "You did amazing Eli! I told you, you could do it" I said excitedly

He was about to say something but he stopped himself. He started looking at the flannel, his smile dropped to a surprised look. My heart sank thinking that he didn't want to wear it. I started giving nervous but I saw how he slowly started smiling again.

"You're still wearing it..." He whispered, mostly to himself though

I nodded "Yeah. Do you want it back?" I started to take it off but he stopped me

"N-no! You could have it. You look better in it anyways" he let out a nervous laugh at the end and he rubs the back of his neck

"Dude, you tackled me to the freaking ground on I tried to wear that flannel last week!" Tim said out of nowhere offended

"Shut up!" I heard Eli whisper to him

Eli made his attention back towards me. We both stared into each other's eyes. I got lost in Eli's green eyes, completely forgetting that there were people around us. It felt like the world had stopped moving and it was just us. Then I heard someone clear their throat behind me. Quickly snapping out of it, I moved so I was now standing next to him. Then Eli's hand found my waist and rested it there. I could feel my face get bright red and I felt spikes when he touched me. Derek walked over and patted Eli's shoulder.

"I'm proud of you," He said smiling

"Thank you, dad..." Eli started but I zoned out their conversation

My eyes made contact with Jay's, my breath started shaking. he smirked as he motioned me to come over. I knew if I didn't go over there, he would come here and I really don't want that.

"Shit" not realizing I said that out loud until Eli's head quickly turned to me

"What's wrong?" He said worriedly as I felt his grip on my hip loosen

"Nothing. I'll be right back" I stated not even looking at him, I quickly left before he could say anything else

Feeling his hand leaving my waist made me miss his presence next to me. But I didn't stop, I continued walking. I wanted to stay clear of Jay, but I didn't want to have whatever conversation we are going to have in front of Eli and everyone else. I don't trust Jay, he going to say something and it's gonna ruin what I have here. When I was finally close enough, Jay grabbed my arm and pulled me so I was in front of him. I quickly pulled my arm away from him, then glanced at Eli, just to see them all looking over here.

"no me toques  y qué quieres?" I said annoyed

He then put his hands up in defense "¡relax!  Solo quería preguntarte cómo has estado.  ah, y dile a tu noviecito que disfrute de su victoria." He said everything sarcastically

I rolled my eyes "I've been great, until this very moment"

He put his hand over his heart and acted offended "Ouch, that hurt"

I just shook my head "I'm not doing this with you, Jay"

I was going to walk away but he stopped me "Oh come on Aurora, you can't still be mad at me! I said I was sorry!"

"You thought I was going to forgive you just because you said sorry?!" I looked at him like he was crazy

He shrugged "well yeah"

"You cheated on me, Jay. Which one of my closest friends, I am not going to forgive you"

"It was one kiss!"

"You made out with her twice" I stated bluntly

"I-.." he gives a pleading look "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean it! I don't even like her"

I give him a look "You didn't mean to shove your tongue down her throat? Twice?" He shook his head "You're unbelievable Jay! I trusted you, you were my first boyfriend! And you wanna know what's worse? I found out after my dad's funeral!"

He took a step forward "I'm sorry..."

"Please, just don't" I heard my voice creak as my eyes water

I turned around and walked away, I couldn't see his face anymore. Tears cloud my vision as I walked, I didn't know where I was going. I just need to get away from here.

"Rory! Please I'm sorry..." I heard Jay say from where he was standing. Thankfully he didn't dare to follow me
