We get onto set and take our positions for my second to last scene. Today's my last day but I try to forget about it so I can just enjoy today and then be sad when I actually leave. I'm wearing the sundress that we previously put aside because the harness didn't work with it. Luckily there's no flying or anything in this scene so the sundress is completely appropriate.

"Action!" Kenny calls.

"I think it would sound really good if when I get on that last note of the second chorus, Luke, you come in with a cool guitar rift." I recite, "Luke?"

Charlie as Luke is leaning against the wall just smiling and staring at me until I say his name the second time, "Hm?"

"Guitar rift, lover boy." Owen as Alex says.

"Right, yeah, whatever you want, Adira." Charlie smiles.

"Cut!" Kenny shouts, "Charlie, you call her Addy there. And then Reggie comments about the nickname, right?"

"Right. My bad." Charlie nods.

We do the scene a few more times, and then a few more times once adjustments are made. We spend about two hours on the scene with some breaks in between.

"I am so tired. That was like my worst work." Charlie sighs. Madi and Jadah made a tiktok of us recording once they got bored running lines. It was just a compilation of our mess ups and Kenny repeatedly telling Charlie to stay in character. Usually Charlie is pretty good at staying in character but for some reason today every time he'd mess up a line he would just stop like he lost the ability to improv and keep going like he usually does to save it.

"We went to bed at the same time last night, why are you so tired?" I ask.

"We got into bed at the same time last night," Charlie corrects me, "I stayed up pretty late talking to Owen."

I smack Owen in the arm, "You know Charlie needs a lot of sleep to function."

Owen rubs his arm and frowns, "It's not my fault. He started it. Hit him."

I hit Charlie in the arm and he stares at me in disbelief.

"Owen told me to." I shrug, "What were you guys talking about that was so important?"

"Uh," Charlie looks at me, then glances at Owen and turns back to me, "sports."

"Liar." I narrow my eyes and look at Owen, "What were you guys talking about?"

Owen smiles nervously, "Would you accept the answer of 'sports'?"

"No." I cross my arms. Usually I would not care what they were talking about. I only asked because that's how you make conversation. But now they're acting weird about it so it has to be something to do with me.

"Well then... We were talking about how pretty you are." Owen flashes a cheesy fake grin.

"And your pants are on fire." I say, "If you're planning something, just remember what it felt like to be punched in the nose. And you," I turn to Charlie, "you can imagine what it's like so you don't find out."

"Okay princess." Charlie takes my hand and kisses it, "Now come on, we've got places to be."

By "places to be" he means lunch. Jeremy runs to catch up with us from talking to Kenny and slows to a walk as he gets to beside us.

"So, Cal. How are you feeling?" Jeremy asks.

"Don't ask her that, she might burst into tears." Charlie says.

"I will not." I defend, "I'm feeling good. Definitely sad because it went by way too quick but I'm still having fun for a little bit longer."

"Well you've got one scene left and I vote we go out tonight and celebrate your past month." Jeremy suggests.
