Four days. That much time had passed since his previous game. He kept track of his visa days in a journal that he had discovered in the mall where he was staying. It was a simple way for him to stay organized and also a way for him to kill time by doodling on the other pages of the notebook.

Ash stared at the 5 of hearts card silently, pondering what the card could symbolize. He found it on the table, that originally held the phones, on his way out and decided that it would be best to take it. After all, if it was there, it had to be there for a reason. He let out a sigh and put the card back inside a clear pencil pouch. He decided that, that is where he was going to keep all his cards. The male stood up and grabbed his green book bag and poured all the inside contents on the bed.

He shuffled through all his belongings and decided what he did and didn't need. Ash had come to the realization that electronics didn't work so he immediately tossed all those away as well as the chargers to said items which then left him with his money, a bag of Doritos and hand sanitizer.

"It's crazy how I have more electronic items than I do anything else." He mumbled, causing him to chuckle a bit at the thought, "I should pack the things I will need."

Ash shoved the previously mentioned notebook into his back as well as the pencil pouch which held two pencils, five colored pencils, and his card. He walked around the stores and found a small medical kit that contained peroxide, a few bandaids of different varieties, some bandages, two needles, and some thread. He stuffed that into his bag as well as two boxes of matches, a flashlight, batteries, rope, and two knives. He put two bottles of water into his bag as well as some snacks that haven't gone bad. Ash walked past a clothing store and decided to change into black sweatpants, a black slipknot shirt with a white long sleeved shirt underneath, and a black hoodie with white accents, as well as black high top Vans. While he was in the store, he grabbed a few hair bows and a headband before putting them into his back as well.

"And like that, I have assembled the avengers of survival bags." He laughed out before his eyes fell on a record store "oh cool, maybe they have cassettes in there." He mumbled and headed towards the store.

Ash had been correct about the store and was now listening to some music as he waited for the next game to begin. The game was being held in a T shaped apartment building. As Ash looked around at the people inside, he took notice to male in a white hoodie who seemed to have had the same idea as him about the cassette player. After he had registered, he walked over to the corner next to the man in the white hoodie and waited for other players to join.

His eyes drifted towards the entrance when two males walked in, one with a button up shirt and the other with a yellow shirt. He watched as they registered. Ash's eyes drifted towards the brown haired one. He stared at him for a bit, taking in his facial features. It was when the brunette's eyes made contact with his that he came to. Ash shot the other a wink before looking at his phone that just let out an eerily happy Melody. He turned off his music and looked at his phone.

"Registration is now closed. There are a total of 13 participations. The game will now commence. Difficulty, 5 of spades."

"5 of spades?" the male in the button up shirt asked, seemingly to himself.

"It's going to be physical. Only the strong survive." A man in a fedora spoke as he turned towards Ash "I looks like he knows a thing or two about spades judging by his face." The male said causing Ash to raise an eyebrow "The game that did this was a diamonds game." He muttered in an annoyed tone. His words immediately caused a few people to glance cautiously at him as if he had a gun pointed toward them. Though, he did notice the man in camo pants take a small interest in him.
