3rd person POV
"You-You know what Rick? I'm done!" Morty storms out of the garage.
Rick chases after him and grabs his arm, "Morty, listen! I-I get you pussied out and all but- BuUUt you gotta understand tha-" he is cut off by Morty pulling away.
"No Rick! I-I-I'm done!" He yells, "I can't stand you anymore! You're-You're such a dick all of the time. I hate this! You always treat me like I don't matter. I get you can replace me, but i'm YOUR grandson!" Tears form in Morty's eyes.
Morty sees Rick's face, it's surprised? No. Scared. Rick has an expression on that represented fear.
"Wh-What? Cat got your tongue Rick?!" Morty spat out.
"Morty, Please listen.." Rick says without an ounce of stuttering or burping, "I'm sorry, okay? Is that what you want to hear?!"
"N-no Rick!" Morty is full blown crying, "I want you to change! If you were really sorry, you wouldn't treat me like this!"
"God fuckin- Morty why can't you just hear me out! It wasn't that big o' deal!" Rick states.
"Maybe not this time! But what about the other times I almost fucking died Rick?!" Morty wants to run, he wants to run so far away so Rick finally sees that he's important.
Morty stands there. "I hate you, Rick." Morty regurgitates out in between sobs, "I don't think I can save whatever THIS is anymore, i don't think I can save our toxic relationship, I'm done." Morty walks away.
That was it, the end of 'Rick and Morty.' No more adventures. Rick didn't see any reason to stay, so he didn't. He packed up his garage and said his goodbyes to Beth and Summer. Beth was hysterical and Summer honestly couldn't care less.
Morty ran downstairs to see why he heard his mom loudly sobbing. He saw Rick side hugging Beth.
"Mom what did he do?!" Morty questions.
"I'm leaving, Morty." Rick says in a saddened tone, "I have no reason to stay here."
"What so you're leaving because you can't use me anymore?" Rick grows more and more emotional as Morty kept instigating.
"No Morty! I'm leaving because my ex-best friend and ex-partner in crime hates me!" He yells, "now if you excuse me, I have two more planets to destroy."
Morty stares in awe with regret filling his eyes as he walked out.
"I can't save us this time." Rick said as he closed the door behind him.
Just like that, he was gone.
