me and Jake walked into the school a week later and everyone was staring at Jake. Whispering and scoffing.
"did I miss something?" he asked me
"I think so, what did we miss" people continued staring at us all day
"have we been outed?"
"no someone would have screamed the F slur by now, this is something weirder" suddenly some random girl came up to Jake
"is it true?" she asked
"what?"
"your arm"
"OOOOOOOOOH, I know what happened, go away now little child"
"wait wha-"
"piss off" the girl left and Jake looked at me "it's the self-harm scars"
"oh my god, ah yes. Wanna go to the principal"
"yeah but if we do, we might get outed"
"true, I wouldn't mind"
"yeah but I would be fucked. I mean my younger sister goes to school here and my parents are super homophobic so when she finds out she will tell my parents then I will be disowned"
"great, my dad already figured it out, that's why I ran away"
"wait really you left cause your dad didn't support you"
"yeah haven't seen him since" many days went past at Alexa and Bella where back at school. Bella was loud as always, and Alexa was laughing trying to make her be quiet. It was complete again. Soon people were staring at me and Jake specifically now, whispering again
"I missed something again" Jake whispered
"yep, wait" is say stopping Jake in his path
"HEY FAGGOTS" a group of eshays yelled walking past us
"there it is" I say pointing at them
"no I need to get out of here" Jake says. he started to have trouble breathing
"ok um were going"
"we can't just leave school"
"we can, and we will. I say grabbing him and pulling him out of the gates"
"wait this is wrong."
"we stay there we get beat up, we have no choice but to leave ok"
"you care for me so much. Why?"
"because I love you" Jake stopped walking.
"what?"
"Jake, I've love you for so long. I never accepted it for years, but I really do believe it now. and I care about you so much. I don't want anything to happen to you" we started running home. My phone was buzzing like crazy from Bella and Alexa. Everything was fucked now. suddenly Jake stopped "Jake, what's wrong?"
"I- I can't go home"
"what why?"
"because I just can't"
"uh ok, um, my place we go to my place" we started running again
"wait what we can't just go to your place your dad will kill you"
"then I'll just have to kill him first" we got to my place and my dad's car was in the driveway. I opened the door, and my dad was on the couch
"what the- weren't you supposed to be at school."
"can't talk"
"who's this?" I looked at Jake, he shrugged
"my boyfriend"
"WHAT!" I slammed the door to my room
"ok what are we doing here, my dad's gonna get a beer and explode any minute so were gonna have to figure out why we're here fast"
"well I don't have a good reason for that" I suddenly heard my sister scream at the top of her lungs
"WHERE WHERE ARE THEY. I NEED TO MEET HIM" my sister screamed
"so that's my sister, she will be annoying" I say "now why are we here I have a horrible family to hang around"
"well- I didn't want to go to our place because my parents knew where that is"
"aw our place"
"shut up. Not the time"
"right parents gonna kill you"
"exactly, what are we going to do"
"I don't know. We can't stay here, my dad will kill us"
"I would prefer you confronting him than having to deal with my parents"
"really, you want me to yell at my dad"
"yes. Do that please"
"I uh- ok"
"go now!" I walked out of my room and closed my door. My sister was jumping up and down and my dad was telling her to calm down.
