Hours later my dad came into the room
"oh Harry, I didn't know you would be here" he said waking me up
"hi dad" I say half asleep
"I thought you said you were to scared to come here?"
"well, maybe I have a change of heart"
"let me guess, you brought Alexa to see her brother"
"how did you know that"
"I'm friends with her parents I'm not dumb,"
"oooh ok"
"you know it's not your fault" my dad knelt down next to me
"but it is, I should've drive her home, I know how bad she is at driving at night"
"look you didn't want to so doesn't mean needed too, plus she was fine with it ok, she drove herself that night and you would have had to stay at her place overnight, just think about all the bad parts about driving her home"
"well her situation is all I can think about right now"
"well, its late and we should go," when we got home my dad started making dinner, it took forever
"when's dinner" I ask
"yeah yeah soon" he said. few minute slater my dad sat down on the table with my food, we ate in silence like every night, then my dad sat on the couch and I went to my room, I fell asleep a few minutes later but then I woke up to a loud banging on my door
"HARRY, HARRY, HARRY" I crawled out of bed opened my bedroom door
"what?" I say, my eyes were barley open so I had no idea who it was
"um hello?" the person says again, I open my eyes fully and Jake was there
"what do you want this late?"
"its 7am, your going to be late to your graduation?"
"I'M GRADUATING TODAY, I THOUGHT IT WAS NEXT WEEK" I started throwing on my unform
"you look cute in a uniform"
"yeah we never wear this, I hate graduation" my dad walked past wearing a suit "dad what are you wearing?"
"my good suit," my dad says "what does it not suit me"
"yeah no, and that was a horrible pun"
"fine I'll wear my work clothes"
"NO THE SUIT IS FINE" my dad walked into the kitchen, "ugh, I hate today"
"well at least no more school"
"hey you didn't get school for a whole month shut up"
"ok fine" Jake came up to me and grabbed my waist "at least you graduated," he kissed me and then walked out of my room, I quickly finished getting changed and walked out
"where's that school hat?" my dad asked
"SHIT ITS UNDER MY BED" I ran to my room and crawled under my bed, I quickly grabbed out the hat and a spider crawled up my arm "oh hi!" I say happily, I grabbed him and then walked out of the house,
"hat?" my dad said grabbing the keys
"on my bed, Jake you grab it" I say putting the spider on a bush, Jake walked past me putting the hat on my head and getting in the car "bye spider" my dad grabbed my collar and pulled me along to the car. I hopped in and we drove to school "god I wish daisy was here"
"yeah," my dad said awkwardly
"wait its only 7:30 we don't need to be at school until 8:45 why did you make me get ready so early"
"cause we have a surprise for you"
"this isn't the way to school, wait your getting daisy aren't you, isn't she half dead"
"shut up" we got to the hospital and daisy was standing outside, I ran out and gave her the biggest hug ever
"I missed you" I say
"I missed you too, now get in the car you have to graduate" we drove to school and it was 8 o'clock, dad, daisy and Jake found there seats and sat down, I was in this waiting area, this long ceremony, I got my diploma I said a speech, It was so long and boring. When I got home that day, I fell on the couch
"you right?" Alexa asked
"that was the most boring thing ever" I groaned
"well at least no more school?" Jake said stuffing his mouth with oranges
"oranges really!" Alexa said
"there delicious! Anyways"
"don't talk with your mouth full" Alexa snapped I sat up and Jake and Alexa sat down, "I know it was boring as hell, but now you don't need to go to boring as hell school"
"you know I want to be an architect," I say
"so, that what how many years in uni?"
"three years of full time study, so that means no working for money, no work experience, just study" I slumped into the couch
"well, you can live with me?" Jake said
"well I'm not going to live with your sister"
"I might not be living with my sister still"
"yeah you will, wait, didn't your sister get knocked up and abandoned"
"yeah we don't talk about that"
"yeah but you're going to be an uncle"
"I'm worried about her though, she 19 and having to raise a child"
"yeah well you can work and help"
"I will have to, she is so scared"
"well, you'll be there"
"she hates me"
"you will be there though?"
"yeah,"
"didn't you run away from your foster family?" Alexa asked
"yes it was very fun"
"I still text Gilda" I say
"yeah,"
"do you want her number"
"uh maybe later"
"ok?"
"I know your stressed about this but at least but think about this, your going to have a family"
"yeah but its all happening so fast and Alex is even more stressed because she had a plan for herself and she so desperately wanted to stick to that plan and now she's going insane and you cannot tell a woman to calm down"
"yeah I learnt that the hard way" I eyed Alexa
"yeah you told me about that" Jake laughed
"shut up" Alexa said, "I'm so glad I'm 18, now I can legally drink" Alexa got up and grabbed a glass of wine "now where were we?"
"you drinking illegally?" I say
"you haven't?" Jake said
"well I guess I'm more responsible than you" I say
"yeah, no alcohol ever?" Alexa says
"no, I'm not becoming my dad" I say
"I HEARD THAT" my dad yelled
"fair enough" Alexa the chugged the glass
"you're going to become my dad" I say, Alexa rolled her eyes
"I just wish that everything was back to normal" I say
"what do you mean?" Jake asked
"I just wish that you graduated with us, I wish Bella was still our friend, there a part of me that wishes the everything stayed the same, that everything didn't change, that we never grew up, like our simple chaotic world just stayed how it was, like we didn't have to change, or get jobs, or be successful. I just wish we didn't have to change"
"well I cant stop anything else but I can make us friends with Bella again" Alexa said,
"what do you mean?" we heard a knock on the door, I ran to the door and opened it up, it was daisy who went out to get something from her car, "you ruined it, I thought you were Bella"
"I thought we didn't like Bella here?" daisy says walking inside
"shut up," I closed the door and there was another knock, "I swear it gonna be some vacuum salesman" I open the door
"HI, would you like to buy some vacuums?" Bella asked
"shut the actual fuck up" I say hugging her, Alexa also joined in,
"the gang is back together!" Alexa yelled
"please calm down our parents are in the kitchen" Jake got up and came over to us,
"stop being so awkward and come in here" I say, I outstretched my hand and Jake held it, I then pulled Jake in, and he collapsed on us. we stayed there for minutes, maybe hours but that was the most perfect hug ever,
